[PAID] Akatosh Quester Profiless QuestBot 1 - 70, 90-96 Alliance

So are there going to be any fixes to the reported issues anytime soon? Don't get me wrong, the bot works but barely and it is supposed to be full afk. If I wanted to sit watching this shit like a hawk I'd just do it myself!

If he was going on a vacation he could have posted a msg on the board and set the correct expectations for his customers.

Not so much. He's on the internet chatting to his betas. So he can fix the problems you are all complaining about. Because we give him logs, pictures, situational data to work with.
 
Just an FYI, "The Southern Ritual stomped out" part of "Ritual Severance" in Spires does not work properly. It keeps missing one small part of it unless it gets lucky enough to get an add in the right place at the right time and stomp out one small section that it keeps missing.

You should know by now ... it's been 3 weeks since Natfoth last posted in this thread, the project is now abandoned due to him getting all his accounts banned. this same scenario happens all to much on the HB forums. Maybe if the core devs supplied the community devs with some love and admiration, maybe buy them wow accounts when their accounts are banned. I think that would be most good.
 
Does this seek out and complete all possible quests by one player (not group quests), or is there a built in list of quests that it picks up and completes? I know it's profileless, but does it have a database that it pulls from, searches for, completes, and turns in? I'd like to run this on my 100s to pick up quests that I missed by using Kick's profiles. Is that possible?

Edit: Bummer. Didn't see the post about his accounts getting banned and the project being abandoned. That's kinda sad. I suppose my questions still stand though, and I'll use it as well as I can. Hopefully he'll get back into the swing of things and start working on it again.

did natfoth dissapear he didnt came online or fixed anything since afther the new year til now?
 
Akatosh stores a list of quests so it knows where to go if you run out of suitable quests.
Most of the time quests are simply taken and done. If they aren't possible with the heuristic approach Natfoth creates an override for the quest.

I think you are talking about Fpsware here.
Some people make most of their money with a job outside of thebuddyforum and Natfoth happens to be a bit busy with it after new years eve. Understandable from my point of view.

I spent a fair bit of effort defending Natfoth's absence from both this thread and the Akatosh Garrison thread. While I acknowledge that there may very well be a valid reason for Natfoth not currently updating any of his products on the store, there is never an excuse for not communicating the reason in person to his customers.

Defending him is fine, but he needs to make a post explaining why he can't be bothered supporting his customers for a period of time.

I'm annoyed, most of the people who have paid for this bot (and initially attempted to provide quality bug reports, but gave up after not getting responses) are annoyed, and something needs to be done post haste.

I agree there. Being busy is understandable, but not telling your customers that, is not good practice. Just a simple post about the progress or lack of it would be fine.
 
I want to use this bot but it consistently just freezes while questing. By freezing I mean it stands by a quest that's not available and just tries to pick it up over and over again and never blacklists it. There is also a quest in Honor Hold for PvP that it continually tries to pick up every time it passes the NPC who gives it even though it can't complete the quest. I would be very interested in buying this bot if it worked a little better but as of now doesn't seem worth the money having to babysit it.
 
I am still working on it and have some major updates done to greatly increase the stability by a major amount. I have an update uploading in a moment for it. It is a major rewrite of most of the AI and I have tested the new update on quite a lot of chars and it runs amazing.

Great to hear from and it's good to hear about the update. Is this live yet or when is it expected to be live?
