5 man dungeon gold farming runs! Whats your most effective gph?

Sure if you get all characters with mythic gear and optimize the dungeonscripts to ignore boss mechanics because you outgear everything, sure you can probably push 1000-1200 GPH.

Hey guys sry for hijacking this thread , but I was wondering if I could get a decent grp going with 2x rog and 1x pala + xxx (thought about lvling a dk and perhaps a priest for healing) , the 2 rogs and the pala are lvl 90 , so I wouldnt have to lvl 5 toons.

Do you think this setup would be doin fine ? or should i lvl hunters like others in this thread suggested?

Any kind of input is welcome :)
 
If you want fast the hunters are pretty savage I have to admit. In wod though anything is game I'd wager

It's commonly known instance farming in that manner is an easy quick ban. This thread is about being safe.

Are you sure ? I tought it was about effective GPH when running random MoP heroics.

On topic, you can buy epic 489 gear from vendors now, so I just finished leveling my team, warrior tank, 3xhunters, and a disc priest, got hunters their 550 pvp weapon, will see how it goes w/o full pvp set.

epic 489 gears from vendor? which one are you talking about?
 
How long will a team of 5 bots last?

I'm thinking of geting a 5man team, bot them for 6-8h/day using MoP/WoD random HCs.
And will they ban my main account aswell, if i get caught? I will not use the bot team on my main battle.net, but i only have one PC and one IP.
 
I've not heard of random hc's being a quick ban, perhaps the single person instance grind?

Anyway, on topic, my groups isn't that well geared and the 500-600 gph sounds about right to me too. I took a couple of my group to the Timeless Isle but I got bored so didn't do them all. They all did do the WoD event for the couple of bits but that was it as far as gear goes, all are under 500 iLevel. I suspect I even have some greens/blues that I could upgrade to the vendor 489 epics but I cba at the moment.

I appreciate the gph isn't great, but for me it's fine as it's direct gold and I don't need to spend time auctioning, mailing to people, smelting etc and in theory I'm able to grind out plenty of gold each month without doing anything. It's just a shitty month to do it with all the patches and I should have timed this group better!

Seondly, there's no way you can die farming random heroics, been running with 4 dpsers and a blood dk tanking, never have i seen the tank below 80% hp (except after falling damage, but cant die from that).

just curious, when queuing up for random heroics, which toon do you queue as healer, and how do you configure your cr to dps instead of heal? ive just started solo instance farming but have bought the accounts to start running 5mans, maybe start out slow as twink 85's running cata heroics, just to test, instance profiles should be tweaked enough for no stucks by now, and move on to panda heroics once wod is out. looking for low stress farming for an hour or two a day to break up my routine.

Tbh, if you manage to setup TSM Auction (with wowdb) auctioning take 10mn a day ;) for everything, and you would be surprised how high can the earnings go.

Yeah I know, I've done all that before. At the moment I want to spend less time on WoW, not more. It's never 10 mins either, it's always more. Collecting post can take 5 mins or more, then once you've got into doing something that adds value, you want to add more - I smelt bars,then I see what an alchemist can do with them and before you know it, you're spending an hour or two at the end of each botting day processing raw mats. Great if you want to do it, but I've spent several years doing it and at the moment I don't want too. It's just a personal preference, I know I could make a lot more.

Yes.... sure is "safe as hell". If you bot 2 days in a row at the same hours, you buy yourself a ticket to the banwave!

got two groups, one where i queue balance druid up as healer, the other with retri paladin.
Singular has inbuilt settings for healers to dps when group members are above a certain hp %, and heal when they fall below it. Simple stuff to configure.
