4 Accounts Banned

Also this is not a "case" its just a report. I dont think anhyone is able to see whats behind these bans.
 
But do You bot on this account which puts over 300 auctions dialy ? I think that number of auctions is just marking account for GM check. Then they are probably looking through some basic data like time of being online, activity (dungeons, quests etc), maybe also checking (with some sort of automatic script) if current character is moving by path defined in one of HB public profiles. After that, they probably check if other accounts are linked to same IP and checking them with same procedure(which would explain cascade effect).

i am well aware of VPN. and as you said you will get banned even faster for this. so still there is no way to multi botting with real different ips.
 
I'm botting with the exact same profiles as my other farmers. exact same hours.
When I'm playing with my main I shut down other farmers too.
I also got another old PC running 8 accs with another bot.

wtf are you even talking about? you have some serious problems and obv. you don't know shit. acusing ppl and talking bs. there are ppl who bot to the fullest for a year without that kind of massive bans. like me. you unless you multi botting yourself and have years of exp. stop talking bs and fighting ppl.

haha. because you work for blizzard and knows it, right? there are so many ppl to playing the AH and have hundreds or thousands of acutions. what do you think addons like TSM are made for?
 
ip has noting to do with it....omg im at highschool and tons of people play wow, so if i got banned the other 100 people would get banned too or what are u saying? loool:)

Been botting since 2005 when Glider came out. Been banned *knock on wood* on Glider ban wave. Besides that no ban. Lucky? Maybe? Do stupid shit? Not really. Did you used Pirox? If you read the Guide how to set...was writen by me and used on their links. I been here since Tony begin posting his GB profiles, I actually begin doing my own and started sharing them. Maybe you don't know what I am talking about. He actually worked his ass off. Now look at him. What you know as HB begin with GB stand alone, maybe you didn't know that. I have run Glider, Mimic, Pirox, Gnome, GB standalone, HB/GB. But sorry I forgot now the birds hunt the shot guns now days. I guess that been working online/development since 1998 hasn't teach me shit.

Ok ppl, lest assume that IP doest have anything do do with it, what causes cascade effect with all accounts run on one computer being closed in same time ? I was banned many times on 1-2 accounts at a time. But now when they catch someone they ALLWAYS purge all his accounts, and we cant assume that they in all cases are somehow connected ingame (by guildband, mail etc). How it is possible otherwise than by checking IP ? MAC addres maybe ?

I appealed to all of them, none of the bans got lifted. Also after i received answer to my tickets i got 4 more bans.
I'm gonna call customer support tomorrow. Whats your advice should I play dumb or victimized innocent customer?
I'd appreciate any kind of advice but please post via PM to avoid any drama.

I got some new accounts. and leveling new toons atm.

That just prove is not IP based. You maybe where reported and in some way had your accounts linked. Sorry for your loss, just pop new ones and keep it moving.
 
I'm not sure if that proves theres no IP based investigation but I suspect they are trying to sort some algorithm factoring auctions posted within a period, average hours per day and maybe cross referencing that with an IP check. I hope they are not developing something like this.
Btw these account are not linked in any way except sharing the same PC and IP. I'm pretty careful on that. Too bad discount is over at blizz store.
 
My friend know a Gm in wow and he asked reasons to ban and he says:

First People have reported one person too many times in the same zone, and a GM has overseen this individual to see what happens.

Second Some people are very determined to get a person banned and has submitted a report, supported by a video or screenshots of this person's character in a compromising situation.

Third Too many players have given evidence at the same time that a character does things that are not meant to be such. it behaves funny.

4th We review people's online time but it can not be used as sole basis for the ban as a parent and a child can share the same account.

Dont hang me up on it here, I'm telling just what I've heard
 
I wonder.. If it's true and a GM ask to your online time then your answer could be: Im a parent me and my child use the same account.. LOL
 
well.

If they see accounts are linked and see you are farming on 2 different zones or more simultaneously on same hardware-ID.

Even if you claim you're multiboxing you cannot control them on multiple zones for farming and have a solid case.

it's the greed that gets you guys banned, plain and simple

case closed.
 
I think blizzard knows who bots and who do not do via warden. But I do not think that it is a problem for blizzard as long as you pay each month.

But when other players start to notice it and report you, then it becomes a problem and blizzard should do something about it. It's like with the police it's not all they are doing something about unless they get a notification.

They know that if you open a new account with them, so they still earn money from you and the other players will not know that its you, so therefore they have chosen to let people open a new account. If they really hated botters personally, they would ban you, your credit card and computer forever.
 
In reality it is not us who run the big risk, but the developers behind the honorbuddy. The developer behind glider had to pay 6 million dollars in compensation to the blizzard.
