25.5 hours, 5 level 85's. The power of RAF and Dungeoning

Amazing write up by all involved.

Personally I use Fpsware Raid Bot rather than LazyBoxer ;) Of which I'll soon be adding some more feature to automate encounters and make RAF dungeon runs smoother. LazyBoxer was more designed for RAF Questing, whereas my raid bot was more designed for dungeon and raid grinding but also includes many features found in LazyBoxer.

Why did you use PQR - why not use a Combat Routine for rotation?

- Create a macro to have the followers follow the leader. I simply use a /follow [character name] macro and bind it to key 1. Old-school multi-boxers are used to this and it's extremely handy.
- Get a window-cloning program. I personally use Keyclone and find it extremely easy to setup and helps a lot when you need to send keystrokes to other windows. This is how a follow/leave dungeon macro works for me.

Do you need those things? I thought Lazyboxer takes care of those functions.
 
I use PQR simply because I find it to be less resource intensive than HB if I'm playing the character and gives me a little more control. Sometimes if you need to stop HB when you have 4-5 instances of it open, it will cause the window to lock up and you have to restart each window. With PQR, it's just one less thing I need to micro manage.

If you use Lazyboxer exclusively, there may be times that you find you've ran off and your followers are now 50 yards behind you and they don't sync up to the leader until you start combat or interact with an NPC. The follow macro simply eliminates lost dps and keeps the followers close.

Along with the following, Keyclone also allows you to setup your wow windows exactly how you want them and puts the appropriate wow accounts into each window and lets me log in to all 5 accounts in about a quarter the time as it would take me otherwise.. I play the main character on a 1600p screen, and use a second 1200p monitor for the 4 followers, the HB windows and PQR window. The windows are all set up without borders and looks pretty impressive. I'll take a pic one of these days and post it here so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Do you need to have 5 Honorbuddy key sessions to do this, like OP did? Or is 1 enough for the main tank you control?

And how do you get 3x exp on the last character? I mean, 4 of them i can understand, but what about the last account how does that get the 3x exp?
 
You have that backwards. The main account is the only account that doesn't use HB, the followers are all using Lazyboxer in HB. So with this, I used 4 HB keys. So the answer is you need at least 4 keys for this setup to work.

There's no limit to the number of accounts you can have linked together, so your main could send RAF invites to a group of 25, and as long as they're all grouped together, they'd all get triple xp.

be careful .. no speeding

made the same like u and started one month ago. 4/5 banned.
and of course i wrote a ticket. the answer: acc will be closed because of botting since acc start ... WTF
 
Where do you buy the cheap playtime/cdkeys? - Or does the Battlechest include 30days gametime and u stop at 85 to grind/do instances?
 
Christmas + Jan has me use fpsware to raf up a total of 45 chars with no issues and no problems;

all around 20 hours mark as well to ding them to 85

prob 15 mins to set them up but once set up your just trolling
 
My Problem is that i make with 1 account RAF i cant make with the RAF account an additional RAF ?

I have paid to cata... but still nothing.

Maybe i have to wait? But how long?

To recruit you should be already setup to at least cata as a rule. If you can't recruit or the emails aren't going through... Have you considered just recruiting yourself?

I did that...

I recruited/linked WoW1 to WoW2 and to 3, 4, 5 and then WoW5 recruited back to 1. So the whole team is fully linked and swaps levels. (It works, even though it doesn't sound like it.)
 
I have been running just two accounts chain dung's Tank + dps(didn't want to do 5 accounts and I only have 1 HB key)
Tank gets insta queue most of the time...Hunter was great but I also found Arms warrior to be awesome..Charge always seems to be up for each pull. MASS aoe dmg..rarely does anyone ever do more dmg than the warrior..and his gear has never been caught up until 80 lol(vendor)
Spell caster dmg seems low to me cause of hit issues...I watch mage spells fly by the bosses all the time lol(up to 50 on the mage atm)

I want to try monk monk...you get the xp buff that stacks on raf daily and 10levels. could leave this combo last..stacking the xp buff each day...then make it even faster...18-19hr? maybe less
 
Any alternative to this one since last patch took this out and the new version of raf bot?
 
I am running Dungeonbuddy with

1x Druid Heals
1x Pally tank
3x hunter

I am c urrently lvl 68 with /played 8.5 hrs

No guild XP bonus, No hierlooms just RAF :)

All Automated, I do nothing =)
 
Hmm, I'd actually like to see a screenshot of that...

Last time I tried Dungeonbuddy, it took 2-3 times as long each and every dungeon as running the tank manually.

If it works better these days, that's awesome. I've been contemplating starting up a RAF group again until Wildstar comes out and getting the rest of my hordies to 90. Then I can put this game on hiatus until WoD.
