10-50 Revised Questing Profiles

Hey all, I've used buddybot for WoW (has been brilliant) but have quit wow after 12 years and am wondering if the BuddyWing bot is still active and updated regularly. Also wondering if people get detected with buddywing at all or if like the wow one it's pretty undetectable? Sorry for the location of the post, can't find anywhere more relative to put it.

Are these profiles still being updated?

I've been testing your smuggler 10-16 Class Quest Only, but it seems to be picking up all sorts of quests as well, and from time to time it goes in loop taking taxi back and forth.

Also at some points it stops trying to finish quest, but just randomly goes to a cornor in a room and doesnt move.

These were not designed with 12x xp in mind so many profiles pick up close nearby quests. questbot sometimes require a restart after completing an object, it's mostily been fixed but there are still hickups.

Keeps trying to access phase areas not related to the smuggler class (ship area, class quests etc.) instead of going to the right areas for quest objects.


Can I do anything? Provide info to help sort it out? :-)
 
Please provide current lofiles, with more info, what you see ingame and what the bot wants.
Where are you, where does it want to go. More info the better.

These 12x xp profiles werent tested, so these problems where expected. Also did you stop the game and continue later on?
If so then thats your issue right there. The Main profiles are better designed to continue if paused/stopped during the profile.
For the fastest fix, you can best travel manually to the next zone and start again.

This case it is just going back and forth with taxi - bot says generating path to "Holostorage Console 50 hops"

Taxi point are Black Sun Sector Taxi, Galatic Market Taxi and Senate Plaza Taxi going back and forth ... stand 3-5 minutes at each point and then taking a trip again

Quests in log are "Crisis in Galatic City" and "Hot Pursuit"


So your saying do quests maunually on here and then when next class quest is not next planet then try profile for that planet?

I'll gladly help update these profiles if I can in any way? And if thats a donation to your paypal...then I'll do that :-)
 
Are you in Black Sun Territory? According to your log
Problem is, in the end of your log i see a lot of Navigation returned a partial path. Destination may not be reachable by mesh! issues.

So are you there if so do the following:
Go to the bot and adjust your log settings to extremely spammy.
Then press My Location button and post that complete part here.
Eavitas has to remesh the map for it to work (IF YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT SPOT).
 
I know what he's experiencing, I had it happen many times over. Basically the bot tries to directly run to another zone and spot and winds up either in the corner of the cantina or the spaceport trying to go into another classes quest. If you stop the bot and taxi to the correct zone it will work fine. I don't know if that's a mesh thing or if the taxi trip should be put into the profile.
 
According to his log, he travelled to the next zone, generated a correct path, but then all of the sudden it cant go any further.

The profile has the travelling in it, so it all should go correctly.
Might be that a part of the zone is corrupt, but he needs to give me pointers if he's in the right zone.
If yes, then its a mesh issue, if not then profile issue to the extent IF the bot took everything correctly.
Sometimes The bot craps out on travelling. Still i need that info.

Dont use any time on this m8 - I've done it manually and moved to Taris now, but the profile for 17-22 Taris Class Quest Only doesnt work...BW replies back that no profile is loaded?

The Taris r15 profile has two unmatched </If> tags, on line 1254 and 1445 apparently. I commented them out and it appears to be running fine, but I just started it.
 
Cryogenesis are you still maintaining this? Looks like the last update to the SVN was back in February.

Consular untill "50" / Illum story line

All other classes only untill Alderaaan

Thats for Republic - I havent looked at Imperial profiles yet.

I find they work best if you edit everything out for all other classes than the one you are leveling.
