Adding another bot account I hadn't used for over a week at least, also using TuanHa on a brand new PC over a VPN not shared with my main account (also 6 months + Exploitation). Interestingly enough this account didn't have an active subscription, so blizz seems to have found a way to definitively detect one or more CRs being used.

What was this event?

Just looked back in the support forum, it was toward the end of March. Tripwire was detecting that Blizzard had changed something in the game's code and was shutting down everyone's HB. Bossland pushed out an update a day or so later and said it was sorted.

Can't help but think that Blizz got a lot of data from that event, there's people getting banned who haven't used botted accounts in months (or so they say), so it makes sense.

Throwing my $0.02 in, as well. Used GarrisonBuddy for 4 mains and Kicks on a mage I was leveling. That garrison maintenance crap is BS and I don't regret botting it one bit. Turn a MMORPG into a time-based iPhone game and people are gonna find a way to get around it.

Forgot about that part with the currency, though. Not irked about the suspension, but if they take the gold I legitimately earned through selling upgrades I'll be miffed.

In the first 4 Month of 2015, Blizzard earned 394 Million Dollar...i think they really dont give a fuck ^^

Talked to a blizz employee explained I didnt have 3rd party software. They said it was detected without a shadow of a doubt and they are busy getting calls about it. He was very polite and told me they dont revoke these and since log in only happened from the same location it couldnt have been a compromise. He said not to use third party software when my ban is lifted. I will not get any money back.
