0/4 Banned. Logic where?

niemand wist dat dit ging gebeuren, ook jij niet.

no one knew that this would happen, neither would you

ofcourse i knew it i was banned befor talked with hawker on skype of it and he didnt knew why they where triggering me i was here at the beta of honorbuddy at start of the first release afther glider i knew that that account would be banned so i didnt upgraded to wod.

What OS are you using? :-)

Windows 7 64 bit.

I am based in the UK and play from an IP address that doesn't change much.
I have no Anti-virus or anything special. I even botted diablo 3 at the same time.

What did you do most of the time while botting?

Mostly it was leveling alt's like I really wanted to have all characters level 100 mostly. That was the main time sink.
I also farmed gold on my main in the same location for a few hours (like I was pretty reckless). Triggering the invasions too.
I used LazyRaider for LFR.

I NEVER used the bot for PVP or gathering though (like mining or herbing)

My new account activated on 07.05.2015 alive, all other before 07.05 banned.

i have 4 accounts too none banned.

i only use combat routines for raiding
i only use garrison bot base
i have this accounts since oggrimmar patch released

is kinda weird this banwave lets hope it stops soon lol

either way Wow is kinda boring right now, all is fucking easy to obtain that has no fun to play

I've been inactive for about 2 months but mine was not banned. I use to bot a good 16 hours of the day for a good year. So really no idea what it was that triggered it. I never use gatherbuddy, though you see people who say all they did was use combat routines only and were banned.

yep, i only used CR's to play and i got banned, 10 year account, but it's all good. i stopped playing awhile ago as this xpac has turned to shit, just laughed when i got the blizz email. knew it would happen sooner or later :)

My brother logged in maybe 1-2 hours a week and only used CR on his alts (that he couldn't play as well as his main). He got banned. He has never afk botted anything because he simply never cared enough to do it. He logged in, did some arena/bgs and then went right back to BF4 where he spends most of his time.

It could just be a lottery type deal and Blizz just rolls the dice as to who gets hit with each banwave. Keeps everyone guessing as to wth is the cause of the detection. Going back to the tripwire event, maybe its an event type deal where its a snapshot of certain users on at a time. It really does seem completely random for the time being (from reading other reports).

Hmm, its funny the bot accounts i used that did not get banned did not use a CR never raided at all.
The bots that did get banned all used enyo with store bought routines.

But like i said the bots that didnt get banned, did not bot after 4/25/15 as well.

this ban isn't over a warden, or a scan or whatever bossland thinks it is. I'v been botting STEADY almost every day for the past year easily, after patches, etc but NEVER AFK I was always there to see my bot, the most I would let it go for is if I had to take a piss. So I HIGHLY dout it was a software detection, I havnt changed computer, where honorbuddy has been located, nothing, absolutely nothing

I had 5 accounts, 2 were just opened within the last week and the others were my main (which i never botted on nor did i give gold to) 1 I had botted on for over a year and a half and another that i had made a few weeks ago. The 2 I started earlier this week were not affected by the bans. My main was only ever used on the same computer while my bot account ran on a VM (I only ever ran 1 bot account at a time and was planning on buying more keys this week.).

My main was banned along with my 2 other botted accounts. The 2 others that I had just bought and had leveled 1 to level 45 and the other to level 27, staggering the times they were botting remain unaffected.
Could be luck for those 2, but personally I think that it points to the fact that they had been gathering information for a longer period of time.

My gf account, leveled 4 toons to 100 always botting, since like level 50s, still up and runing, never used routines or enyo, only questing and the default routine.

Mine got banned, did use payed routines, enyo, but never botted afk

Now, what i remember i did diferente from gf account, was when testing some free routines, and messing with them to learn about it, was that some of them, when i used the pause hotkey would broadcast it on my ingame chat... same minute i search where to turn it off, and said on tooltip "use it at your own risk", so yea might be that that trigered my ban

on the other hand she didnt bot since end March, though she did bot alot afk... oh the irony

From what I've seen, The detection was done at random pulses over a very wide span of dates.... there is no way they where running the detection all the time- HB staff would have picked up on it..

It could just be luck that you happen to be offline during everyone of those pulses.

Irony everywhere. Sorry for your loss.
