I would be happy to help out with testing also. I saw the development task list... but do you have a list of tasks that need testing? Also I suspect there is no such thing as unit tests or automation for this?.. If there is what tools do I need to run that shiz.

Thanks guys for you advice. So ryan1cf the restarting for you makes me think there might be residual cache files somewhere that never got cleaned up and on reastart they get removed. Restarting did nothing for me. botzor I vaguely remember doing that in the past and it worked just fine. However...

So I have seen previous posts on this but they all look old or abandoned. I'm mostly curious if there is something bad with my setup or if trinity actually has a bug. So am I the only person getting these performance freezes/ hiccups with the trinity performance logs...

So Idar1, Ezupdater didn't update Trinity for me I had to do it manually. I haven't looked into why yet. However im still getting Trinity freeze and performance problems. They are unrelated to virus scanner and firewall. Since I have neither. And the windows stuff is disabled...

After the update. I downloaded the new beta version of DB, Deleted DBfolder/Plugins/Trinity and copied in the Trinity folder from the downloaded beta version into the old plugins folder. That worked for me. The new version of DB came with a new version of Trinity.

I have the same problem I read that you need to disable your firewall and or virus scanner. That apparently worked for some people. I don't have either. and the default windows firewall and windows defender have been disabled. The weird thing is I had a version that worked just fine about 4...
