So I have seen previous posts on this but they all look old or abandoned. I'm mostly curious if there is something bad with my setup or if trinity actually has a bug.

So am I the only person getting these performance freezes/ hiccups with the trinity performance logs?

[Trinity][Performance] Execution of CacheManagement.RefreshCacheMainLoop took 2231.61ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of RefreshDiaObjectCache.UpdateBlock took 2234.77ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of RefreshDiaObjectCache took 2239.50ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of HandleTarget took 2244.52ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of CacheManagement.RefreshCacheMainLoop took 1027.51ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of RefreshDiaObjectCache.UpdateBlock took 1028.64ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of RefreshDiaObjectCache took 1090.52ms.
[Trinity][Performance] Execution of HandleTarget took 1093.74ms.

I know this is unrelated to firewall/virus scanner stuffs. Since I have windows firewall and windows defender turned off.

If you are also having this issue please speak up. I have a copy of the trinity repo checked out. So I can work on it with my little pockets of free time but I would like to get some aggregate data about whats causing the problem before I dive in.

If you are having these problems please enable "Log Targeting System" and "Log Cache System" in the advanced Trinity settings and log it for a min then post your log file here.

I once had issues like this, it was all related to my AV at the time. I uninstalled (I think I was using AVG) then installed ESET and found that ESET had the same issue but then I disabled HIPS and restarted and voila all performance errors gone.

When i start getting that i delete mmy bot folder and reinstall everything from scrach.. (make suer you backup your rutines and loot rules) then it usualy works as it should again :>

Thanks guys for you advice. So ryan1cf the restarting for you makes me think there might be residual cache files somewhere that never got cleaned up and on reastart they get removed. Restarting did nothing for me. botzor I vaguely remember doing that in the past and it worked just fine. However full removal -> restart -> reinstall(or download zip version) -> still having the performance glitch.

So I will probably start debugging it sometime this weekend. See if I can find a more definitive answer.
