maybe some of the autoupdate code updated you to the release instead of the beta version.
 
yeah super.. that's what had happened... i fixed it... thanks for the heads up made me look closely :)
 
huge framerate drop down to 0 fps and WoT said "Not Responding" each time a battle started (3 straight battles)... After the spike cleared up the tanks didn't move... here's one of the logs...

And @Aevitas: do you fix these particular coordinates we give you, or do you tweak the algorithm to fix it universally?

He surely fixes the algorithm. One of the biggest reason of this navigation change is automatism. No more reason for hand made path etc.

Lets hear from the dev team, this is interesting. I understand the purpose is automatism but the question is - what is tweaked, the skeleton (map mesh, blue-grey thingy) or the algorithm (the code, interpretation of blue-grey thingy)?

Because as testers we need to know what kind of feedback is more important, every single stuck location & unrecognized obstacle, OR the general wrong behavior pattern.
 
It is unusable currently. Stucks on every house corner ... I have the feeling it got worse.

Well that's something we're tweaking. Vehicles in World of Tanks are all differently sized, thus we have to tweak and tweak until we find values that work well for all vehicles. Right now, we want to hear what you guys have already been telling us, which tanks get stuck, which maps, where on the map etc. We'll continuously improve this over time, and are very grateful for your participation in the testing process.

I often stuck even with the Type 59 which is a rather small tank. Please let us know if there is an update of the meshes again because currently it is nearly untestable because it stucks on every single map.

Edit: It often runs to the first rock and drives directly into it. Additionally it often hangs on hill sides where it cannot drive because its to steep.

Edit: It often runs to the first rock and drives directly into it. Additionally it often hangs on hill sides where it cannot drive because its to steep.

We'll adjust the slope the bot deems climbable in the next update.

Also, most of the time we push a new set of meshes to the server, we also push a new beta build for the client, to tweak some numbers.

When is the update? And can we now use a bot?

Is this using the beta build or the normal build? We only want problems you come across with the new beta build in this thread.

Also, you can always use the trusted, normal builds of TL with the traditional navigator; it'll still work as normally.
