mines is 7 pro sp1 new build.

ssd is c: and bots on it 40% full.

when i go further, fps drops below 12 and cpu usage goes to 90-100% vs multiple champ packs.

p.s. i could run 6 on my i5 fairly easily as well irrc. it was going to 8-10 that it couldnt handle. my guess was something to do with cores, and another reason why amd looked interesting to me vs i7's.

Maybe you guys can comment on my current comp and what I would be able to do with it/upgrade.

CPU: I5-2500k 3.3ghz
Ram: 12GB
GPU: Geforce GTX 460

I would probably need a new separate hard drive to run all of the bots from efficiently but how am I looking otherwise? Concerns about pc heat so maybe more fans?
 
A computer has more than 3 parts. :) Hard to tell what you could use for upgrades with just that.

Those are the main things though when talking about running multiple bots. I should have said that I have sufficient slots in my mobo and psu connections. If a new gpu was needed then I would look at psu specs to determine if that would need to be improved at the same time. Also already stated that I would get a faster HD just to run bots on so really there is not anything left.

Well if you are just looking for upgrades. not sure what your budget is. But i like the i7-3770k.(dont go to newegg for these, they are 100 dollars overpriced) Not sure if u have an SSD but they are really good for running diablo 3. you could get this

its 40 dollars off and has a mail in rebate, i havent done much research on others. you would have to do that yourself.

im also not sure what the ddr3 on your ram is and if your motherboard is holding it back. you said you have sufficient slots. can i ask how much you are using for each slot, 3x4gb or 1x8 1x4 etc.

Going to build rig for 8 bots. No WM.
Curently looking at AMD FX 6 core/i5-3xxxx, GT640/GTX650/HD7770/HD7850 2GB, 16 GB RAM.
What would you recommend?
And would it be enough 7200 RPM HDD?

i was looking at fx 8core with gtx650 2gb 32gb ram with 7200 hd for 10-12 bots.

i believe an fx6 and gt640 will run 8 np but not possitive.

first of all OC that cpu to 4.5 at least....
