1/1 today. play manually for 2hour after maintenance. then go offline, sleep. 1 hour ago try to login, and got banned box.

bot my char from paragon 68 to 85, in one week only.

*hm* the poll started with ~100 banned and 3 not banned and is actually 362 banned and 297 unbanned? O.o

i am not sure if i should trust this poll.....

yeah its total bs now - just think of it like this, everybody that has actively botted in the last couple weeks is banned. I dont know one botter that survived and even those that thought they did were banned later in the day lol.

Same here.. And running on several forums for what I've seen

Yep banned.

Didn't start botting until I began to get bored with the game.

The RNG was driving me nuts, even with the bot running and increasing my odds. Just compare Mara's in D2 with Mara's in D3. That pretty much sums up why I barely felt like playing at all.

Here's to saving some money on my electric bill. My only regret is that I didn't have the will or desire to pull the plug myself, in spite of the fact that I barely touched the game with my own hands in months.

Never was one to bot for profit. The way I see it, I simply saved money with DB, by gearing up through it and not the RMAH. I find absolutely nothing wrong with botting for profit; I'm just a low-risk frugal-family dude, so I don't really delve into that stuff. Props to people that pulled it off. I'm the same way with Ebay; buyer-only, though I want to change that someday.

In hindsight, all the rants I read prior to this, mainly regarding itemization; were spot on. Diablo 2's end-game was playable at a natural, no-extra investment level. Sure, I still botted on that too, after awhile, but after a single night of botting, I could throw together a top of the line build through trades; which speaks volumes. Stone of Jordan, +1 to all skills; vs. Stone of Jordan, plus 1-10 of 1:100 skills, 20-30% bonus vs. elites, etc etc etc (just one small example).

I was banned in D2, and came back soon after. Went legit for awhile, then botted again. Could not stop, not for years. D3? No way in hell. I kind of find this first ban to be a welcome relief.

"We understand that you may still have concerns regarding the action, but we must reiterate that it was taken to address a violation of the Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation), which all players accept before logging into the game."

Blizzard's response to me re-opening my ticket again with them to ask specifically what their "proof" was, now I got a new response, they won't even accept any further messages from that battlenet acct. HAHAHAHA What Douchebags

Same shit here. They could ban all and dont show profs of illigal action. Something must be done, they cant just say no when we ask for evidence!

1/1 here and i feel the same way, hit para 70 manually then realized that i've been wasting my life. Demonbuddy was probs the best thing that happened to D3.

account is fully banned from b.net

botted for 12+ hours a day

ill be back when db is back working and cd keys are cheap

1/2 banned. main barb banned. was offline though for maybe 1 week. botted just occasionally for infernal machine keys. last profile ran was A3 Inferno Champion MP0. 4-5 hours a day. 2-3 days a week.
The day i loose interest in a game is the day i start botting. RMAH is the cause of all evil. No RMAH, true singleplayer mode would have made the game more bot "free". At least I would not have used a bot :). Maybe just scattered ebay auctions.
Or have you seen bots for Baldures Gate / Neverwinter Nights / Skyrim ?
But with the RMAH blizz did the big coup.
Get a provision for a sold item. Let botters flood the game. Those botters create a huge, if not the biggest part of the RM transfers and therefore a big profit for blizz (hey no DLCs required ;) ). Once a specific gold/money rate/inflation is reached blizz starts to ban bots to start a deflation. The gold per $ rates decrease until it is again profitable to start a bot. Rinse and repeat.

got Smashed hard my barb 87lvl
[A3 - Inferno]Champion-Hunting 1.3.6.3 BigRed_AB_modified_for_new_atom
last day i have play whit frends ubers and after reloging got banned

Got hit hard, lost my main account with a paragon 67 DH fully equipped with about $250 worth of shit.
Over 700 hours of my time and < 100 hours of bot time.

Running a custom version of Giles Trinity battle routine.

Selling single session DB licence with 10 months remaining if anyone is interested.
