All bot on the same IP, split between two computers, each computer only has one bot opened simultaneously.
all a vm and seperate ips do is make it harde on blizzard to spot each account. if they put in the time and check the moneyflow and invesitigate the other accounts they still can spot all. using a vm gives you a chance to save accounts, but it does not guarantee it. Let me put it this way i know of several occasions where someone using vmware with seperate ips got only hit on a fraction of his accounts, i never read any 1/x reports where no vm/vp.n were used.
so you saying they were able to ban all my 13 bots account because they traded with a single mule account? Do you think they put this much effort into banning people?
correct but if they never linked the accounts in game through trade and stuff then there would be no link at all and that is how virtual machines can be very powerful when combined with separate ip addresses.
i had such systems setup in the past and i will setup such a system in another game soon.
Well Vm does do something...
In a talk with a gm here from my country, she told there was too much provs and logs of someone playng 24/7 on my computer... (nothing to deal with trade or multiple acc, they didn't have a link for it either in my case and not sure if they even have a log for it.)
All my acc got the templates of bot for "too long playing", really not sure how they filtered it.
Since my oldest acc didnt got banned at all... and is still 24/7, I can just say they like to prank us.
On the other hand I've seen from the 1k bans about 20 accounts running 6h+ day.
Btw the GM at any moment havnt mentioned a bottling software, he told me just like this on the talk.
"Your account was tagged due to the large number of hours playing, and won't be unbanned. Someone were playing from your comp on your acc, that made u an extra potential profit and breaks the game fun for other gamers and also some "laws" according to the rmah."
Its pretty dumb they could see I was bootling 24/7 but If I werent they would unbanned the acc. Or would not even banned it. (Words from the GM itself).
So I pretty sure they have no ingame ways to detect it, except the large amount of hours that can be tagged for a single day on their logs(dosnt matter if it was 2months ago its already saved on logs).
I've never had any issues with mule accounts getting banned. Do not be tempted to bot on the account and you should be in the clear. Virtual machines can reduce the risks, but what is the point of VMWaring if you're botting 24/7? You're at the same exact risk if they do a scan as all of your bots are online regardless of if it was on a single machine or multiple.
