[EU ONLY][BETA] HB 1.936 - Questing Overrides and Improved Targeting

My bot is only grinding also even though there are quests on the forcequest list, it just grinds only.

Sure it would've been a nice feature ages ago when it really was life or death over who won AB/WSG , but now with increased honor-gain

Tho, i'd rather see that HB would help out more in AV.. it's the only bg really that matters 50-80.


And sucking in pvp? that depends entirely on the CC and which version of HB2 you're using.

The matter goes, that if you added BG logic and improved pvp to the bot, the honor grinding would be less obvious and risky to those botting.
If your bot is running around capping bases instead of mindlessly zerging the middle of nowhere, people are less likely to see you as a bot.
You see those guys in BG chat all the time "NOOBS IN THE MIDDLE STOP FFS".
Thats where most bots lurk, and people know it.
The more advanced we can make HB the better imo.

But these are future ideas, we need the core to be stable before adding this stuff.

FFS. That was the *biggest* most annoying bug from beta 3. It picked up quests and instead of doing them has decided to grind on boars for 3 hours. Can somebody who knows Hawker & the dev's quite well please ask if they can address this ? Maybe he's not aware of the issue.

I think someone respected in the community *cough* Mordd *cough* should make a new thread to keep track of all the known bugs for each current version and make it a sticky. Just so the Community and the Devs can have an easy way to see a list of what bug's we're still experiencing.

If somebody does that, make sure to put in big bold red letters at the top of the list "KEEPS FORGETTING QUESTS AND GRINDS"
 
why you just stop flaming .. and just post the BUGS ?!

maybe then you didn't need an extra thread with the bugs listed ...

so this thread .. which should be a collection of bugs just get flamed and trashed ..

I have found that with this release it will only do this if the mob is in the faction list. So i don't think its that it forgets to not grind but that the target list isnt updated.

And yea the mob one mob and then another is extremely annoying, particularly with the default hunter.

I sincerely disagree with you, we have been posting the bugs, the extra thread is just so instead of looking through 9 pages with the same bug being posted multiple times, it's instead a nice neat list.

And these's threads where the versions are released aren't only bug threads. They're really the only discussion threads that we have for the latest versions. And I wouldn't call it "flaming"

Hi Spud.

I have posted the bug. So have others. It's quite a major bug which was present in beta 3 and still in beta 4. Not flaming, just pointing out the fact that it still exists.

I thought this was a bug as well but come to find out that the biggest problem to this is as small as going into your profile and changing your <MinLevel>, <MaxLevel> in your profiles. I had started a priest ran into a problem changed CC's and that fixed the first then I came across a proble where it would finish a quest and then start to grind from level 3-4. I let it go while i opened up the profile and took a look at it. there was a questing are in my sub profile for levels 1-2 and then again nothing until i hit level 4. Just a suggestion to overlook your profiles first before you report something as "It doesn't quest, Just Grinds".

that's been checked, when there are active forced quests in the area it still gets stuck on grinding sometimes.

Mine has blacklisted like 8 + quests right in the first hour or so and is just gridning now :\

No its not just you, even though I have a force quest section in my profile, the bot still seems to do exactly what it wants to do!!

As for the bot looking for hostile targets in its path, Ive just watched my bot target every yellow mob it passed on its way to wherever it was going. Got fed up after about 10 minutes, stopped the bot and restarted and it went back to what it was supposed to be doing.

Hope the next release actually fixes some problems.

lol, mine has a sweet spot that it heads to in stonetalon mountains where it likes to go if it has nothing else to do.

Its at <Hotspot X="6.114364" Y="-3.489722" Z="36.78202" /> and its done it since HB2 came out no matter which version Ive tried
