[EU ONLY][BETA] HB 1.936 - Questing Overrides and Improved Targeting

This beta is not the improved version i'd hope it would be, hard to believe it took 3 weeks to be honest. There are fundamental flaws in HB which need addressing before new features are added. There is no point listing them as they've been mentioned several times. Just read all of Mordd's posts.

I know it's been said many times before but doing 1 quest, handing it in, doing the next, handing it in and so on is taking a long time to level. It needs to be able to do multiple quests before handing them all in.

+1 I totally agree, also there is still bug's in the UI such as when your typing your mount name or ID it doesnt want to mount with that mount but will mount with the last mount name that was in that slot before you changed it (That bug has been getting mentioned since the release of HB2), also the Targetting issue how are you supposed to use a bot when the bot constanly run's into a pack of mobs and dies and keep's continuing it till i manually stop HB? you took 3 week's releasing Questing Beta 4 so i had big hope's for alot of bug's being gone but what a waste of time me waiting it was. seriously dev's stop releasing new thing's till you fix thing's 1st cause if you carry on your going to end up with a completly broken bot and no user base.

Im only a week old HB user (but was a very long glider user). I tried the new version on my lock in AV using skiwarlock as cc and custom profile for AV, and I was so fucking mad that my char would not mount up, I then just exited and typed in, and exited till it worked. Now however, it fucking tops list in AV having a 7-5 score as a 74 demolock
Im so gonna go all out on this AV weekend
Is there a place of known bugs and temp. solution to them so I wont be so frustrated next time?

Maybe the radar engineer can explain why a level 24 pally gets killed by a group of level 18 gnolls. Oh wait, it might have somthing to do with the fact that its running right into the entire camp and being overwhelmed.

Radar does not work as it should. Plain and simple. This release is no better than beta 3.

Did i miss something? Why are you so aggressive against the dev team?

Okay I think I'm officially done with WoW. The time between new releases is just too slow on Honorbuddy. No offence to the developers, I know you are working hard on it, but some bugs just persist through releases which have several weeks in between them.

Botting is no longer fun for me personally, I'm more into Quake now.

Thanks HB/GB crew, you enlengthened my WoW lifespan by at least a year, but now it's over for me.

I know this build is more for questing, but I like messing with new things. It appears that the bot isn't looting when it is on "mixed" mode. However if I stop it and select "Grind Bot" it immediately detects the missed loots and tries to grab them, but if I switch it back to "mixed" it ignores the lootable mobs again.

I can confirm this bug. Mixed mode does not loot corpses.

Also, i can understand him.. some of us users have had serious troubles with HB/GB and no solutions being offered except "empty cache" and perhaps rerolling to an older version.

And 1.9.2.5 is a big steamy piece o' **** , it's just Qbeta3 without the "questing".. never once did i get it to work properly..

Im running it now with Mords Breakneck - no problems so far (Im lvl 14). Looting is an issue though - the running back to loot is a bit anoying - doesnt matter if its something it does once in a while, cause that just looks noobish and human, but it happens too often..

Im a long user of Glider, eBot & Gremlin, and I must say that this HB2 is the best bot Ive ever seen, when it comes to grinding! The way it navigates is awsome - much better than Ppather ever was! Questing was a hell with Glider as well - I have used so many different quest-task-parsers, and none of them worked properly - not even the ones I paid for! I have one lvl 71 pala running HB grinding, and he has done that from 1-71, its awsome! So give the dev. team a thumbs up and chill a bit, dont use bad words, cause I bet it isnt easy to get it to work 100% (I have only used HB 2 from when eBot died)

I love the grind and pvp part, still hate the way they want questing to be done. It's better now since you can override questlocations ( if it works ofcourse ) I stand by my opinion, give us a way like pather handled it quests and a lot of problems would be fixed... Let profilemaker decide wich quest to take, when to do them (in the order he intends them to do) and hand in when he wants it to do. As long these things arent implemented the questing part will fail imho. To bad because the devs doing a great job otherwhise.

True it navigates better, wrong about the questing. The part you failed on was that you didn't do things manually (with ur profile) When I made my profile I leveled by hand ( I enjoyed it again because of the profile I was making). All the parsers were for lazy people, and most botters are just lazy people. Thats why the questing part of this bot is bad, they want it to make it work for lazy people. I understand them aslo, they want to make money. But some people aren't just satisfied with that, some have higher standards

I allso think its a good idea, to make it so one doesnt have to be a task-wizard to make it work. Maybe some option/switch should be implemented. "Wanna use build in logic or task-logic" Im clearly for the build in. In the gliderdays I made my own tasks, but those wasnt so complex as HB's. There were no blacklisted areas and so on.

If its build in you don't have the freedom to make it like you want it to work, so it will die more. Do much more stupid things and look more botlike imo. Like now it can't decide what to do first. I rather want it getting forced to do a particular quest first. Then when it reads the memory of your questlog and your quest is completed, do the next quest in line you tell it to do. So you can bundle quests that are near eachother together . Accepting the quest can be automated like it is now, no problems with that (except for the ones you have to abandon manually -_-) Then do they quests like they are placed in your profiles and only switch to next quest when other quest is finished. When questlist of that part is finished, hand in the quests in a specific order and autoaccept followups. If it would work like that, it would be a major step forward.

blancharke is correct by the way. We will have a way to set quest order soon and when that works the product will be complete and we can concentrate on bug fixes until Cataclysm.

awsome yesterday i was doing quest with a new warlock then it just stands there stil at the second base while he needed to do the chille death he just keep standing in that town

I'm trying to reproduce the failure to loot bug reported but it works fine.

Have I missed something here? Please post logs if you have the problem.

What about the Targeting Bug? That the Bot targets a Mob attacks it and instantly attack another one? Is it Part of the Override BugFix?
