64bit support wont happen because its not feasible to have basically make another bot that only supports 64bit. if you hate waiting this week for the bot to come up, then imagine that if we did make a new build for 64bit, that it would take us 2 weeks. (yea thats why its not happening)

I'm just posting what I know. These forums are filled with crap and dumb questions that have been answered a million times already. cg1203im posted a quote.
 
Leave the HB devs alone, and let them work away, they dont need all the distractions of answering peoples threads asking when the bot is going to be up......... It will be up when its up, so stop bugging them about it

so much to "1 week". 1 or 2 days for limited dev edition, maybe another week for others. good work, fanboys. i am out for today. tomorrow i will bother again, if i am not banned :p

all this work could have been done in beta time. same as other bot developers did too. btw, noobbots gatherer looks really fine. rest is crap.

Devs sould close and clean this treat to first post and update there so we don't have to read all the crap from others. If you wane complain do it to the costumerservice not here.

If you ussing LR only from HB then i sugest temp take PQR like i do.

Keep on working on HB as long as needed.

If an dev reads this GET BACK TO WORK :D

If you want a checklist, here you go:


  1. Update & reverse all the things left to do
  2. Fix all the broken API references
  3. Refactor classes & namespaces to where they are more appropriate.
  4. Double-check all of WoW wrapper API to ensure it's not returning false values (and by all, I mean all 3000+ properties, 1500+ methods, and the other 350 or so structures). This includes getting a character to specific "test" points in the game to ensure these values, and some other "hope we can get a test scenario" in other areas (eg; PVP)
  5. Ensure the default things provided with HB aren't completely useless and broken.
  6. Test everything.
  7. ... clean up threads from people who can't figure out a calendar.


That's just a generalized checklist for the public. I won't be posting my personal checklist, as well... I can't actually fit it all in one (or two) posts.

Also; to give you a better analogy, we're like your typical tiny software company who relies on 3rd party software to operate, between 5 different games, with only 5 developers (4 of which are busy with other things, or on vacation). Oh wait... that's not typical at all...

I realize some of you "want it now", and so do we. But unfortunately, this stuff takes time. I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it done a few days ago (I'd have more hair right now), but it's just not that simple.

Patience is a virtue folks. The test release will make a lot of developers happy, and should hopefully make a lot of users happy. (Developers will hate us for a week or so while they figure out the API changes, but they'll soon realize it's much more concise and cleaner)

Lastly, if you guys can't keep discussion civil, I'll start handing out suspensions. There's no room for you guys to beat eachother up on our boards, take it elsewhere, or don't post at all. Thanks!

Oh and just to add to your misery, even once they release it, you will have to wait for working CC's cuz all of the current CC's will be broken due to the API changes.

So please for the love of god, stop asking when it will be ready.

I think a lot of people are missing the silver lining. Anyone who botted when Cata was released will remember all of the bots being down and having to wait much like we are now. We likely wont have that in MoP because they changed so much with 5.0. Therefore I would anticipate being able to bot very close to the release of MoP. I hear everyone go on about stocking up on Cata mats to sell in MoP, as far as I remember I made a lot more when Cata dropped selling cata mats ..... not so much WotLK mats. I'll gladly take a long downtime now as opposed to a long downtime when MoP drops.

i used google translator to translate this into my native language. and... i loled hard, cos i understood less, than the original. the english translation is terrible too, but a bit more understandable.
