I believe Stove has some custom item pickup code in his plugin. So does Kane's old AGB Sarkoth plugin. They will bug out. If you want to use them, you'll either have to ask them to disable their custom item pickup code to use mine instead, *OR* use loot-rules that filter things as normal (try the loot rules on post #337 of this thread).Results: Plugin Gile stash on correct folder and world object handler also, Last DB Version, Manual launch and 30 secs or more to load all correctly, Stash plugin set on +61 blue items and emerald gems, deleted "CompiledAssemblies" folder, last rules loaded correctly and still loots non wanted gems and grey trash

Default DemonBuddy does this a lot, DB's item pickup, item reading, and backpack-checking code is pretty unreliable. New version 1.7 of stash replacer has new custom code I made for picking items up, checking for backpack free slots, and deciding whether to do a town-run. It shouldn't ever get stuck in an infinite pickup loop again with my 1.7 stash replacer. IF you do find it get stuck "forever", be sure and give me the last page or so of your DemonBuddy log, and ideally a screenshot of your backpack slots (just the backpack no tooltips or character screen needed so you won't be identifiable) and tell me what sort of item it was trying to pick up... but it shouldn't happen!![]()

Hey, looks like you are using Stove's plugin. He has custom item pickup code that is currently subject to DemonBuddy's infinite looting bug. I've been helping him out a little so I'm sure that he will soon have a version with similar loot code as mine so will also be bug-free. But while you use his plugin, your item pickups will be handled by his code, so nothing I can do about that![]()

You can do this manually for now by editing the loot-rules provided and tweaking the salvage and sell categories - but yes because of the fact craft mat prices have plummeted (anyone know why? Just a sign of so many people quitting the game or...???), I think I will support this more "officially" in a future update and just have an option between salvaging or vendoring the junk! I do have a small request though. Instead of salvaging everything, I think it should sell it to vendor instead. You actually avg more gold selling it to the vendor instead of crafting it then selling it on AH. The crafting material prices has dropped a lot recently.

Yeah nature of the first release of new item pickup code and all the failsafes I added, next version speeds this up quite a bit and I will continue to optimize it further. First release is always just to get something working (eg whole new pickup code), then speed ups and improvements after! Should have a new version late tonight that already speeds this up a lot, yay! (and update tonight also correctly stashes valuable jewelry with only 1 stat on if it's near max-cap of magic find, gold find or LifeOnHit even if it's blue with no other stats, since they go for a lot). Plus some more logging and failsafes to help people that suffer from various DemonBuddy memory bugs.Giles just noticed after he kills an enemy he runs back to the last walk point, then goes pickup 1 item, runs back same point, goes pickup gold.. and so on until it picks up all it needs and then carries on.
