[Plugin] Giles World Object Handler

Hi - for now you can edit the code :D Find this;

You'll now go for exp shrines too!

Thanks for the code text!

RE exp shrines: Remember you have to be level 60 to unlock inferno, so if there are exp shrines in inferno then they are very useless!

This plugin + act1 champ farming is a nice long safe leveling run for normal/nightmare/hell. Some people being banned for using vachem (lots of quick games)

v1.3 uploaded:
-- The plugin must now be ENABLED to work. You can now DISABLE the plugin normally (you do not have to remove from the plugins folder to disable!).
-- A config window has been added to the plugin, with various commonly-asked-for tweaks. The recommended defaults button will put settings back exactly as I use and recommend them myself.

IMPORTANT: This plugin can now be disabled and enabled like any plugin. It will now only work if it is ENABLED (ticked in the plugins tab of DemonBuddy)! :D

New config window sample:

I strongly recommend keeping these values at defaults. Setting container open range or destructible attack range to 0 will cause the bot to try and always ignore these. Setting these too low can cause your bot to get stuck behind breakables. The default values for these settings are ones I found worked best.

Nice new interface/options! Does it drink health refill shrines (if needed) yet?

Awesome work, now add this to Monster handler aswell and make a button to ignore goblins :D

been testing 1.3, not sure if the GUI works for min gold stack, I have it set 400 and its picking every pile it comes across and sometimes backtracks for small stacks (99<)

Make sure the plugin is ticked (enabled) in the plugins tab. I know old versions were "always enabled", but this new version allows users to enable/disable like a normal plugin.

Also check to see if after quitting DB and restarting DB, your selected config is actually being saved (eg - it still says 400 minimum gold)?

Yeah >.< I have all that done

EDIT: Weird started working when I disabled it and enabled it a couple of times.

It's definitely working fine for me... just tested it. Set to 0 gold, it ran towards all gold piles. Set to 1000, ignored anything lower than 1000. Double-check install directories etc., try manually editing the value in the new ".cfg" file using notepad in the plugin folder, and try deleting the "CompiledAssemblies" folder within the DemonBuddy folder and restarting DB (and re-check plugin is enabled again after restarting). Failing all that do you have any other plugins that might affect gold pickups or anything? Code-wise/plugin wise I can't see any reasons you might be experience this if everything is fully running.

just thought i let you know that as soon i turn on the plugin the bot starts ignoring to loot mythic health potions and tomes of secrets, as soon i turn it off it works again
tested it while running the bot

edit: just restarted the bot, and it works again

but i had this once already with mythic health potions, definately something u should look into

Are you using command-line to launch DemonBuddy, or some sort of batch restarter/auto-logger? if so, the problem is that launching DB from command-line causes DemonBuddy to start running a routine before all plugins have finished loading. It's a known bug with DemonBuddy atm.

If not, can you list the other plugins you have/are using?

v1.4 uploaded:
-- New option added to config window to disable loot-rule filtering. Will cause all items to be considered valid pickup items. Ideally to be used in conjunction with Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer v1.7+ which handles item pickup filtering.

If I untick the box it follows your rules, if I tick the box it picks up everything, is that the way it is supposed to work ?

Yes that's exactly what it does, it prevents DemonBuddy from looking at item rules for picking items up so just tries to pick everything up!

Wait for my Stash Replacer 1.7 to make good use of this new feature - Stash Replacer 1.7 overwrites DemonBuddy's item pickup code with custom code that filters items at a deeper level before picking them up - it's coming out soon, just re-writing the first post of the stash replacer first and will be uploading very soon! :D

no, im starting it all manuallyh
however not that you are saying it everytime i close DB i need to kill it in task manager, and then everytime i start it again my kill radius and loot rules are always randomly changed, i dunno why

other plugins im using are: unstucker, profile restarter, the mf swapper (disabled) and your priority changer

Loot radius/kill radius can get changed by the profile/routine you are running (eg the Act 1 inferno champ farming routine handles radius changing so you can ignore it in the settings tab). Having to task-kill DB could be delated to this thread I just posted in the developer forum;

Try opening the config window for each plugin that has one, one by one, then running the bot - see if it still needs task-killing next time you close it?

Anyway try using the new v1.4 world object handler with my new stash replacer plugin v.1.7 - see if you still have problems with item pickups then!

k i just download 1.4 and 1.7, what settings do i have to put it so it only picks up yellow 62+ in the world object handler? and will this pick up yellow jewelry above 59? if i i set the 1.7 config to yellow 62+?

Use new world object handler option to ignore loot-rules. Then in stash replacer go into config and set the filtering options you want there (eg yellow ilvl 62+). Blue weapons with higher DPS, and jewelry above 59+, will automatically be picked up, so will all legendaries and whatever gems you pick, and potions up to the "cap of 100" if you select the new potion-cap option. Have a play around & experiment, might seem odd at first but it's pretty easy once you figure out that the stash replacer plugin now controls item pickups, and world object handler just passes a list of all items on the floor to the stash replacer for stash replacer to decide what to do with :D
