Hide yo wives, hide yo kids cause blizzard is banning everyone around here
It's not just demonbuddy btw. Autoit and hellbuddy users have been banned as well.
I understand the text book definition of "ban wave". But in all honesty, can you look around the DB forums and say with all sincerity that nothing is going on in terms of the massive amounts of bans?
its not a banwave, or everyone would of been banned and thats not the case.
because of your definition of a ban wave means everyone gets banned ? I feel you and rest of the devs here are just ignoring the obvious. The ban forum makes it pretty obvious a shit ton of your customers are losing money and you just use the you were unlucky line.
What's pissing me off is that they are blaming their users. Apparently all the devs or staff that have replied to posts are spewing the same crap, "it's your fault"
It is our fault we bought a bot program that is profile dependent that makes the issue worse because it cannot do random dungeons. Anyone can write profiles sure but you're limited to what you can write because the bot cannot do random dungeons so you're stuck to static areas with predictable behavior.

I blame Blizzard. They made Sarkoth insanely profitable; people botted it 24/7 on multiple accounts; they banned those people. I'm sorry for your loss and I do not blame you at all.
We have been working on random terrain for 2 weeks now. We are not stopping but that fact must tell you its not easy. Meanwhile we still have several 1000 online botting right now. There are bans but this is not a banwave.
There will always be that ONE area that has a higher rate of gold. Sarkoth, crypt, core. The fact is people will find whats the best and use it.
Indeed. Back when Burning Crusade was new, I lost a ton of toons farming the Death's Door tunnel and later farming the Black Temple steps. In D3, there was just one spot that was ideal for farming and it is of course easy to see server side that something has done 500k gph there for days at a time.
