[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Just deleted that folder and I do not have any stash slots protected. Bot is still getting stuck.

I have sent you a forum PM. To anyone else having issues at the point of stashing and wondering what my PM to protossop is asking - basically, if you have issues with your bot being stuck at the stash and you are sure the plugin is enabled you don't have AGB conflicting or any other plugin conflicts etc., then if you can send me a forum PM with a complete copy & paste of the "test backpack" button from the config window of my plugin, and screenshots of your three stash pages, your backpack, and let me know if any stash pages are protected, it'd be extremely useful. Filter out any names/specific character references, but keep it in a PM for both privacy sake and spam sake. That information will seriously help me find any issues there might be! :D
 
hmm i changed to run as admin/win xp sp3 compat and no crashes yet... i had changed this before long ago.. but i guess everytime d3/db updates i have to change it again..
 
need to adjust the score to how much in order to get a bow with 1.2k with socket and cri hit damage and with dex?
 
Here's an idea: have an option to keep health potions in the inventory, instead of stashing them (with keep rule, of course).
DB's protected inventory slots stop working with your addon, as good as it is.
 
u can change the agb tower run with the newest version. does this work with it now?
 
5: Compatibility:
This plugin replaces the stashing & keeping part of the DemonBuddy's Townrun routine. The only plugin that might cause compatibility issues are any that heavily change or customise the town-run routine.
If you are using AGB Sarkoth per Excellence then you must enable the option to use "Demonbuddy Townrun". AGB Sarkoth and Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer work great together as long as AGB is set to use "Demonbuddy Townrun"!

hi, will this pick up low dps daggers that go for 75mill + on ah.. it could have like 200 dps.. but if it has high loh, high crit dmg, cold dmg, ias and socket.. it can go for like 200 mill. i dunno how much score these daggers would get on the gear check

Still not sure what's causing the loot bug.
I've tried running freshly opened DB (no stop/starts done) and it's still getting stuck sometimes.

Once it got stuck at full backpack and the only class specific item was a 1 handed crossbow.

Anything else you think I should try? Weird that I'm the only one experiencing this.

Similar problem :
When backback is full my toon keep try to loot an item till AGB detect a stuck and reload game. When new game start backpack full is detected and all is ok.

You mean like the option t"Stash Potions" you can tick/untick already in the plugin config window? ;)

I don't think it will - I had no idea such daggers even went for a lot!? Seriously, 200 DPS dagger with those stats can be worth so much? :O I can add some "special stat combos" on weapons if they have very high loh, crit hit damage, attack speed and a socket. Can't check reliably for cold damage I don't think with current DB, but I'd have to investigate that.

You shouldn't need to adjust them at all. But that's what the "Test backpack" button is for in the config window, if you have such a weapon, pop it in your backpack, click the test button, and see how much score it gets :)

Hajkfas & giuntina - I'm very sorry but this is not my plugin causing this, it doesn't touch the looting code, and I've never seen this happen on any of my bots, ever :( Do you have any other plugins enabled that might alter DB's default looting code you could try disabling? Have you tried getting to the point where your backpack is stuck, closing DemonBuddy altogether, re-opening it, and then running with *NO* plugins enabled, does it still get stuck? I've seen a few reports of this, usually rare, but I think it might be an issue with Demonbuddy itself. I would suggest reporting it in the support forums if you can't pin it down to a particular plugin. It's definitely not my stash replacer plugin though - doesn't change any looting code at all :(

So now when the bot is full i have to manually move items marked as "keep" to shash.

yep.. whirldwind barbs use offhand with good stats like that since their main dmg is only effected by their mainhand

Well, if you only have 1 item in your backpack, the bot will not try to stash when you click "Start" - as my plugin only alters the "town-run" portion of DemonBuddy. However you can force the town-run routine to run by having a completely full backpack when you click "Start".

Try having a COMPLETELY empty stash (put items on ground for 1 minute again! :D), fill your backpack completely with items (normal items - weapons, armor, jewelry... leave potions/craft mats/odd items on the floor for now). Make sure you have one of my loot-rules in use, and disable all plugins except mine. Run away from the stash a little distance. Now "Start" DemonBuddy (get ready to stop it again quickly just incase) - it should run instantly to the stash, stash any items that it thinks are worth something (this is my code), and then run to the blacksmith to salvage (this is back to DemonBuddy's own code again).

Does it run to the stash and then stop dead? Can you set Logging to "Diagnostic" in DemonBuddy settings tab and see if any nasty errors pop-up when it goes to try stashing? What if you have no plugins enabled at all, does it try to stash & then salvage ok then?

Sorry for all the questions, but I really want to try and fix this for you & the couple of other people have it - and since I can't reproduce it myself, I'm going to need all the info I can find to try and find where the problem(s) might be! :D

Tried all above, all the bot does is open stash and stare at it when i have 2 slots away from a full inventory.

It definitely should not be running to the stash if you only have 1 item in your backpack - with or without my plugin! Demonbuddy should only try to run the town-run routine if you badly need repairs (durability very low), or it detects your backpack as full. Even if I start with no plugins at all... if I have some space in my backpack and click start, it tries to run the routine I have loaded, but if my backpack is full and I click start, it begins the town-run routine (and will identify, then stash, then salvage/sell as normal).

Do any errors come up if you have logging set to Diagnostic in DemonBuddy, when it tries to stash?

And would you be able to test with version 1.2 of my plugin (it's on the main post still), and see if it still gets stuck with that? If you can definitely confirm that 1.2 works, 1.3 doesn't, in exactly the same circumstances, then that will be very helpful - as I did change the stashing code between the two, and will go back and look through it again and see what I can see!

Sorry about this. I did test this extensively at my end, and nothing has popped up on any of the bots I run, and it's hard to find a bug I can't see in action for myself!
 
Basically what it does is stand at stash attempting to put things away. Left mine overnight and woke to 2 slots from full inv and it standing with stash open.

Great way to test the stashing thing quickly is by "forcing" DemonBuddy to do a town-run the moment you click start, which you can do by having a completely full inventory (well, up to 2 or 3 slots free I think if you want) when you click "Start". If you stand away from the stash before you do this you'll know it's working because the first thing it will do (after identifying anything) is run to the stash.

This is how I very quickly test the town-run routine, rather than wait for the bot to go out killing monsters and looting stuff!

Anyway - does it get stuck no matter what - ie, even with an empty stash, no protected bag slots, only this plugin nothing else enabled and with only "normal" things in your backpack (armor, weapons, jewelry... no craft mats/potions/staff of herding/follower items/strange items)? And if so, does doing the same thing with v1.2 of the plugin work fine 9stash things fine)?
