That is a Diablo 3 Crash.
There is another issue, which justs freezes Diablo 3 without any error.

Nevertheless, both are issues which would be great if they get resolved.

50% of crashes are more likely DB not user error. Since we already know that DB gets out of sync with D3. How you can claim its user error, you must be a fan boy. It is a decent product with sub par support so far.

To the best of my knowledge this only happens if you got a shitty internet connection or download too much porn.

And the freezing error doesn't happen if you adjust your game creation delay. At least not with ABG.

I've got an SSD (550mbps read, 500mbps write), Intel i7 3820, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, GTX560 and 50 Mbit internet... What Game Delay would you suggest?

So your recommendation is use a plugin that basically removes most of the core function of DB and makes it do a stand alone AGB?

Yep its end user not the actually application itself.

Not everybody uses ABG.... i don't and don't plan on it. If the solution is to use a plugin then DB is broken.

I actually use the core functionality of Demonbuddy i just disable the stuff on top of it :P

I say close this poll and restart a new poll in a day after everyone has updated and tested the new version to see if its fixed

i had ram go bad recently for no reason at all, it would screw up with it would heat up, and i would see stuff locking up, and apps that never crash (like skype and explorer) crashing. it was pretty bad. i had to replace 8gb of ddr3 it was really sucky.

My PSU never goes above 100degreesF and i get the windows not responding message. I play various other games and have run scripts on various games on browsers with shit tons of windows open and games running all while watching movies downloading things and what have you. So even though i can run all that and never have a problem or play games that take up way more CPU capacity than D3 does on max settings and never have a single crash your saying its my computer? lol. Doesent make any sense to me. Only time my computer ever crashes (only windows not responding no BSODs) is when DB is open, before DB never had a crash. I only run one bot in windowed mode on all low settings no framerate limit high resolution (for some reason i cant change my resolution in game). So why is it that only DB and D3 together crash my computer when i can do tons of other things that take up way more space and heat everything up tons more than the bot does. BTW this isnt meant to thrash you in anyway just wanting to know if you know why this is and maybe you know a way to help. Support is rediculous and never gives me any help even after i give Tony everything he asks for once he has it he just closes my thread and says told ya so. Told me so what lol i proved him his responses were totally false. Support needs a big kick in the ass.

demonbuddy dosnt run at a low enough system level or where it would cause those issues. replace Demonbuddy with Itunes or Crome, it makes no sense.

DB can't cause BSOD's. We never leave user-land in terms of code. Chances are, you're seeing something else (like a core piece of hardware [like your CPU]) overheating, or not getting the power it needs. Feel free to let us know which BSOD you're getting, and we can easily help you out. Don't blame it on us if you don't bother looking up the error code though!

and like i said even with the system resources running on high the computer is fine. I just ran stress tests on my computer not a single issue. Im gonna double check the memory sticks tomorrow but stress tests alone is sufficient to say it is not my system and is in fact a problem with DB or another software problem. Not with D3 as it runs fine without DB never had a crash without DB running.

i ran memtest86 on my ram for 24 hours, and it didnt come up bad, but it was IN FACT causing issues. so you might not think its a certain problem when it very well could be.

Well you said when it got to hot it would mess up i just heated up my comp to test that theory and it worked fine. Memtest is tomorrow i still have it on a disk around here somewhere. So if not either of those issues anything else you think it might be. Im still leaning towards something wrong with DB but with such a small portion of the community having the problems like this (most with BSODs and not Explorer issues) its hard to pinpoint exactly where else to look. The only common denominator is DB. Out of all the other stuff i use my computer for DB is the only thing that causes issues.

Nah, I use ABG cause it's the best profile / plugin available. I've also ran Core of Arreat profiles, multiple different ones, with total stability for days on end. Before I switched to Sarkoth and ABG, which I honestly should've done earlier.

I'm willing to help people who are getting BSOD's, but they should do the following.

[Windows 7]
1. Click on Start
2. Right click on Computer and click on Properties
3. Click on Advanced system settings
4. Click on the Settings button behind "Startup and Recovery"
5. Under "Write debugging information", make sure the option is on "Small memory dump (256 KB)

If you're PC experienced a BSOD, and you didn't shut it down manually, then your PC have created a memory dump in the location "%SystemRoot%\Minidump" (just let the BSOD go, you're computer will shutdown/restart eventually).

If it's alright with the devs/mods, then you could post your minidump file so i could analyze it.

Try upping the game creation timer in AGB by a bit, haven't had a D3 crash since I've done it.

seeing threads like this makes me wish hardware support for linux was standard for all companies and that WINE could work with far fewer flaws.

Ok so, I was also having crashing( of D3 not DB)
After setting d3 to compatibility mode (xp sp3) and running as admin I still had the problem, However!
Setting an affinity of no more then 4 logical units( not cores but threads(so only 4 checked for DB)
and only 1 for diablo 3, all my problems are gone.
I'm now 24/7 and have run for 4 days straight.

Be careful, Blizz has been banning people for using WINE.
