Banwave goes out targeting AH bot users

Also plenty of ah bot users reporting bans on ownedcore (not going to link, mods don't like it).

I hope some of the reports that show up here is due to this, not due to DB.

I've only got one bot running (in addition to my clean CE account), farming gold for myself and a couple of buddies I play "legit" with, but it would still suck to lose the one account. It's been running 24/7 since DB came back up.

You're going to get banned lol, don't bother. What you can do with it is to set it search for 40% Gold Find amulets for 10k or whatever and it will automatically buy it (keep searching until there is one) and then you just resell it for a couple of millions.

Not gonna tell anyone here details about this, and besides you would be stupid to do so after reading some of the ban reports people made. Even the safest ones that only searched once every 3 seconds for a few hours a day were detected, and no one can figure out how/why they were detected. So basically all the public ones are fail now, and you probably need to know someone to purchase a private one. I did not use one, for the record, but I like to keep my ear to the ground on this stuff.

People have also reported being banned using their own "custom made" one.

Auction House botting is overboard imo. I approve the ban sorry to say. That's literally messing with our money.

So capitalizing on peoples mistakes (which at some point, if allowed the time any "legit" player would, too) is not OK, while farming gold or items 24/7 is? The only thing these "AH bots" really do is buy stuff that are sold way too cheap either through ignorance or error on someone elses behalf.

I've not been using nor do I plan on using one of these, but I can't really say I mind that people do. Not long after release this was how I made all my gold in D3, although I did it manually.

0.o. It is a transaction area. Should be off limits for bots.

Farming gold from mobs is different.

Approving a bot correcting human error?.... >.>

Bots are one and the same, no matter what you are botting, they're all against the EULA, try to make it seem better anyway you want.

Yeah, but botting doesn't directly prevent other players from acquiring gold/items, while if you bot on the AH, it's nearly impossible to get a "good deal" with those botters.

will repeat the cycle..... IT IS A TRANSACTION AREA. Keep it manual play in that section. BRYV explained it well there.

Good riddance. Sick of finding a decent item for a decent price and seeing it bought before I can even move my mouse to it.
