How to run D3 at 640x480 (or something like that)?

You dont need to pay for innerspace as hotkeynet, autoit or other macro scripts ie one that I and Sahal have posted will do this for you.

To Firework ( mainly )

Any joy getting script working
I have added and example hotkeynet script for logins and remote for you.

Albeit DB is down I had this working yesterday and it looks marvelous on my two screens. Thank you again for this script.

Seems problem is deeper than he looks in first look...
Game still at 800x600 even if you resize it to lower resolution by any programs. I mean no matter what resolution you set - game eating resources like in 800x600.

Yes but over multiple monitors you can get them running in a nice fashion and with dasyurus script you can swap them, bring one to the forefront all with a push of a hotkey. Its brilliant.

Ive prefer to use ISBoxer. Hard to setup - easy to use. =)

Anyone here that knows how to disable Diablo 3 from rendering in-game?
There was an old topic on Blizzhackers about this but no one said how to do it.
Anyhow, What it did was making the Diablo 3 screen being black but since the bot read and write to memory it could still bot.

game has to be run in Fullscreen windowed mode and NOT windowed mode to get lower resolution than 800x600 seems odd but it does work.

Aye may but I prefer not to pay for something that can do the same and is easy to setup and use :)

Hotkeys can do most of this just not the CPU mapping but yes ISBoxer maybe better but what some people want was an alternative at no cost so just saying how to do so, but alot off ppl how use ISBoxer also use Hotkeys for things ISBoxer cant do.

added new script for more choices for those that what.

if u use hotkeynet to lower the window size, u first have to change ur desktop resoultion t eg 640*360 (which is 16:9) open d3 in window fullscreen and change back to ur normal hd resolution.. after that resize ur window and it will stay at 640*360. if u dont change ur desktop resolution, the d3 windows will stay at eg 1920*1080 if u resize it and therefore consume ALOT of resources....

No you dont desktop resolution can stay at whatever you use and use hotkeys to change the resolution to what you need.

Set game in Fullscreen windowed mode and run all games that you need.
Rename all Your Windows using script and then change them to what res you have set it at in script.

how do you have all the d3 windows with no border or title bar?

How do you do this? I just got a test version of isboxer/innerspace, and with innerspace loaded, I can't resize the D3 window.
Well, I can, but as soon as I stop holding the right mouse button, it goes back to 800x600 :(
sorry for the delay.
Check out this video on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuDjR4C--94&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Then: window layout wizard > choose team > resolution > the choose what you like > at end Export All

Hey T, check the video. At least thats how i do it. With IB

how do you have all the d3 windows with no border or title bar?

using the script that I have posted on here and hotkeys all you need to do is change your paths in the script and your resolution to Fullscreen Windowed in game.

Run your games and then the script.

If you use Arelog this does not set the games in Fullscreen windowed mode. Whoever writes this plugin can you take a look at this and change this option.
So after you run Arelog you will have to manually change the games back to Fullscreen windowed mode, Until the Author changes this if it is possible, and then run Hotkey script or use ISBoxer

sure u can resize them.. BUT u will consume alot of resources...
doing it my way reduces the cpu usage... just try it.

ah yes sorry misread your statement yeah doing it that will give you a smaller res on all windows due to them being set at 640 in Fullscreen so grahpics are not as good :) and therefore run quicker.

I understated how good your script is. Iso uses more CPU and memory this is proven. Wonderful thing with your script is that even if you want to shut it off hotkeysnet the layout sticks in place. Its pretty dependable. Plus you can do picture in picture (like you can put a small bot in the corner to watch while full screen. Plus you can do low res-full screen which is super easy on a graphics card. ). Glad I didn't start using iso and got this thing to work :)

Are there any more settings from my D3 prefrences I can tweak? I keep my FPS at 25, disable sound, etc.

I am still using version 2 I will use your new version of this script Dasy once I get my 2 accounts I have only been using dual for the last 24 hours and its just now stable. Which is nice.

As for making it not render anything I have no idea I am troubleshooting that now. If we can figure that out I can probably run over 10 on my computer :P If we could have a 'render on/off' switch to fix issues that would be the best of both worlds.

End of the day Das script uses less CPU resources total. Sure you can micro manage them to go to one core but you can already do that with task manager I don't see the need.

DO NOT change preferences:

PreferencesVersion
PCIVendor
PCIDevice

All other preference is on yours choice...

I am about to finally boot up my 4x4 I have been using the last version for so long cuz it was so stable now I am officialally upgrading. If you want to do "CPU" mapping with hotkey net its very simple.

Control + Alt + Delete

Task Manager

Right click Diablo III.exe EU1, than click 'set affinity'.

From here unclick all unprocessors except for 1.

Do this for each program in your task manager so if you want 1 cpu per D3 than you can spread them out. Just make sure no background applications are bleeding over into the affinity of each D3 CPU core.

Depending on the speed of your computer I don't know how many cores per D3 is 'stable' but 1 per D3 is faster that ISO by a large ammount.

Next I will try the D3Pref ^ by the gangster who posted last thanks again guys.

his d3pref idea for setting it to 1 and the other were amazing. Thank you!

Bought innspace/isoboxer and set it up for 12 accounts on my computer.

Question: How do I resize the windows? Seems to me the only option is it makes them extremely tiny, and then 1 big one to swap too.

Also how would I change the resolution so its not as cpu intensive, etc? Or does ISBoxer do this automatically when the windows are really small?
