Also, information travels so fast now. If you know nothing about D3, you can walk in, read up on the forums, become an expert and easily best those who have been playing since the start, but haven't taken advantage of forums, information, etc.
Then again maybe I just didnt have as many resources or awareness back in the D2 days, I was more opposed to playing the "OP" builds and classes and looking for "different" ways to pwn the game, which really didnt exists (that MA sin and SS dru never came close to the blizz sorc or hammerdin for mfin efficiency).
I think getting rid of waypoints was a bad idea, I mean being able to farm a1-a4 killing all bosses with 5 stacks of valor would be alot funner than just one I think, like go through butcher, then belial, then az, then diablo, something like that. Also by capping the game at 4 players and making multiplayer alot tougher in inferno it really isolates each player into everyone trying to solo everything, no one wants to tank and kill everything for 3 other newbs, and it really cuts down on the social aspets of the game, you could argue the auction house does the same because there is now zero interaction between buyers and sellers, just prices, bids, pay or dont.
