[Loot Rules] Worth It - No Trash (Custom Inferno rules)

This is the loot rule I use personally when farming sark, and it's worked wonderfully. The rule is on pickup, so you won't waste time grabbing a bunch of blues / rares only to find they are garbage, thus inadvertently speeding up the runs by a second or two.

Legendary / Set: Always pickup
Weapons (1h,2h): Only if greater than 1000dps/1200dps
Rare Ammy (GF/MF): Only picks up rare amulet with atleast 30% GF or MF, AND has a base stat (dex/str/int) higher than 100.
Rare Ring (GF/MF): Only picks up rare ring with atleast 15% GF or MF, AND has a base stat (dex/str/int) higher than 50.
Rare Armor (GF/MF): Only picks up rare armor pieces with atleast 16% GF or MF, AND has a base stat (dex/str/int) higher than 50.
ilvl63 Rare: Will pick up all ilvl63 rare armor pieces (including rings and ammy) as long as they have a base stat (dex/str/int) higher than 70.

Plans / Designs: Always pickup
Tome of Secrets: Always pickup

- Added the pickups of misc type items per request. If you do not want to pickup these extras, stay on v2. If you want to be selective, just simply remove the sections you do not want (such as gems).

Update v5 [06/24/2012]: Edited on 6/28/2012 - Fixed Plans/Designs

Gems: Always pickup (minimum is type "Flawless Square")

- Reduced the gem type to a minimum of "Flawless Square" because personally I was tired of a cluttered inventory caused by regular square gems.

Gems: Removed.

- Restructured syntax.

Update v10 (MINIMAL) [06/28/2012]:

Plans / Designs: Should be 100% FINALLY fixed. Confirmed myself with all 12 of my bots picking up 3+ plans overnight each.
ilvl62 Rare: Will pick up all ilvl62+ rare armor pieces (including rings and ammy). I found it much simpler this way.

- Slightly reduced restrictions in this version. Removed all GF/MF + basestat restrictions in lieu of an all-encompassing ilvl62+ rare rule.

Update v11 (MINIMAL) [06/30/2012]:

ilvl62 Rare Weapon (1h/2h): Added (900+/1100+) DPS, ilvl62 rare weapons.
ilvl62 Rare Ring: Added rule to be safe (even though I've picked them up with just the "Armor" itemType).
ilvl62 Rare Amulet: Added rule to be safe (even though I've picked them up with just the "Armor" itemType).
ilvl62 Rare Source: Added.
ilvl62 Rare Mojo: Added.

- Added some missing rares thought to fall under other categories. Added fail-safe rules for jewelry. Added Rare weapon restrictions.

Feedback greatly appreciated, and feel free to modify it to fit your needs (especially if you feel some of the minimum values are too high for your tastes, I just don't bother with anything worth less than this).

Is it really not worth filling the invi of random blues and then vendoring them? I mean many items sells for the same as the gold stacks.

same question. i don't think the time it takes to pick up the blue makes it not worth selling them considering you go to the vendor to repair anyway.

As it stands now with .146, interacting with stash takes far, far too long for my liking. With a full inventory (2-3 blue / run, with room for 30 items...10-14 games until sell) literally takes in the upwards of 60 seconds to sell, and you only get about 6-8k. That's more than two runs of sark missed, potentially 10-12k gold missed. I've tried it looting all and keeping, it just takes too damn long.

EDIT: Blizz is planning on jacking the vendor price of a lot of high ilvl items in the next patch, it may very well be worth it to pickup and vendor at that time, but its still left to be seen.

If you're in it to pickup the high ticket items while keeping a high GPH, this is for you. If you like selling / salvaging everything, this is most certainly not for you.

Does DB have any function to find out what will have rare item for stats before looting/identifying? Just wanna make myself sure, that it will loot good rares. Running it for few hours and didnt pick up any yet. Thx

obviously this is not gonna work.
 
Why not pick up the Tome of Secrets? Take low space, easy to sell on ah.
 
Havent done the math but exquisite essences sell for around 1700-1800g each. It might be worth picking that stuff up and salvaging.
 
Essences alone can amount to somewhere close to 1.2mil a day of "average" botting.

I do however like what this profile does as is, I keep multiple around for different things.

The only thing I think it should have is ability to loot plans.. since you can get the i63 plans (obviously INSANELY low chance)
But those can sell for millions.

@Ins0mnia , I'm sorry why would that not work? Excuse my ignorance, is there something we should change?

Okay, I tried this last night and im extremely paranoid. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I woke up with NOTHING. Literally empty inventory & empty stash. But this was a 12 hour run and I usually get at least get 1 legendary etc... Is there some sort of process where DB knows what a rare is before identifying it??

You have to change the Magic1 on keep legendary to Legendary

Uh, no you don't. That means Magic1 and higher are kept (ie: everything).

Don't change that line. Also to those worried, you can remove the min stat on the ilvl63 section and you'll find a bunch, but if it doesn't have gf, Mf, or a base stat higher than 70 its garbage. Might be worth salvaging though.

Personally this morning I woke up and found 7 blues and 9 legendaries 1 rare between my 6 accounts.

DB also knows the stats of items when they drop, to clear up that misconception. I'll see about updating this and making a salvaging version.
