No your wrong, they did release the source the day blizz shut them down, it was only for like 4 hour's but they still released it, but then they took it down since blizz could still push them for prospcution over releasing the source. I did have the source but a month later a suffered a HD crash and lost it![]()
We never released the source. So you couldn't have had it.
At the time of the Cease and Desist we were going to release the source, my fianc? is a lawyer and told me that it was a bad idea to release anything, I ended up convincing Naa that the backlash from Blizzard would be alot worse if we released anything so instead we decided to stop. On our SVN everything is logged and the last commit came a few days before the C&D. We never released anything, or gave anyone anything. Only person that ended up biting us in the behind was Phelon but that's another story and has been told on another forum.
How did the bot get detected after 3 months and get shutdown so fast?
you do know this thread is over a month old?
doesnt matter
anyway i was a alpha totus tester (it was 1 year ago+-), decent grind bot with nav and CCs like hb, but all was primite compare with HB![]()
Huh? MMototus was a gathering bot not a grinding bot, unless they released a grinding bot before it got closed down. Saying that i could be wrong since i only used it a couple of times.
Wouldn't you need to access protected code in the WoW client to see nodes not in visual range. Seems like a bad idea and a quick way to get banned if so.
