Random old stuff

if blizzard detects patterns in flight paths, this program is how you get busted... always at a certain height? so far ive only been able to produce crap routes with this, also alot of nodes are missing.

if you read the 2nd post by me, it says to change the TSP to your liking, your TSP will vary how random your route is.
the higher the TSP the better the route will be. etc you really should have read the whole thing before you try criticise something

as for missing nodes,
we are still expanding the database -> WoWGather - A WoW Farming Bot!

Awesome tool, I am playing around with it for a few hours now and got some questions :)

1. It seems to ignore the blacklisting of nodes for me, for example in Twilight Highlands I blacklisted all nodes in Obsidian Forest but the route calculated still goes over every single node of those and HB is also gathering them then.

2. I cannot find the fishing option mentioned in earlier posts, was it removed again or not yet implemented ? It sounded to me like it was added, maybe I misunderstood that.

3. It happens often to me that when there are large trees with a small tree direct next to them ( more like a tree stomp ) my char gets stuck there. Unstucking works just fine but it would be nice to avoid that in the first place, would it help to increase the Fly Height or Height Checker to avoid that ?

#1, turn all the nodes off in the filter list, turn 1 thing @ a time on and go to map, then blacklist, repeat untill you have gone threw everything,
reason it does this, Things such as pyrite are duplicates, and will only show up 1nce on map ( but there are really 2 there ), you just need to filter them to blacklist them and such

#2, this isnt implemented yet, as we are still expanding the database -> www.wowgather.com

#3, this doesnt seem to be a MapGen issue, you should be able to fix it by adjusting the flyheight tho.

Tested Glue Remove Face.zip‎
(9.0 KB, 5 views) for 5hours.
No crashes!

ok it seems that i can "glue" to enemy, but when i go behind him ( not to dodge / backstab etc ) and face it might cause a crash, i will now look into fixing the Face and re-implement the move behind function once again.

Update:
2.0.0.1
Removed - Move Behind & face - Code to make it 100% crash free, Will fix shortly, just wanted to release 100% stable for people incase not running HBRelog
Added - Check box [ Movement Enabled ] - Untick box if you dont want it to move ( allows you to speed up honorbuddy and not run movement )

Please note, 2.0.0.0 moves behind, 2.0.0.1 is just a stable version for now, if your having luck with 2.0.0.0 keep using it. if not use 2.0.0.1
untill i release a stable Face();

sorry i did read both posts, it doesnt say what it randomizes. i didnt think it would make the height random too lol.. it has massive potential but maybe by default you should set it to generate good looking profiles. I was hoping i could edit the route myself, that would make this app extremly valuable.
you can get the best updated nodes from gathermate2

it only randomises the path, given by your TSP. etc.
height is just modified by ya Settings.

Thanks for the answer, I will try blacklisting them one by one now.

About Jacan's comment regarding the fixed height making it easy to detect, I think he got a valid point there. I guess it would be nice to have something like min and max height and keep it also a bit randomized since clearly no normal person will ever always fly at the same height :)

so Default TSP is 3500000 and max is 150000000 correct? so If I use 150000000 to make all my profiles this should be the very best route? Just want to make sure I am getting this correctly.

correct, 15 mil will generate the best route.

I am sorry if this was already answered but what exactly is a TSP and what does it do?

I just blacklisted all nodes turning them on one by one in the filter list as you suggested but the resulting route still calculates to fly over all the blacklisted nodes like for example i blacklisted all Cinderbloom nodes in Obsidian Forest , Twilight Highlands and there is nothing else to gather there and still the route covers the whole area and also gathers the Cinderbloom.

mapgen does only routes, there is no function in mapgen to skip herbs or ores. If you want to skip all Cinderbloom, you have to do this in GB2 Configuration. There is a Tab where you deselect cinderbloom, so it will get skipped next time.

your going to have to jump on MIRC as i have no idea what your doing.

you can blacklist nodes, and make them not go over to the route. if thats what you mean
but if you have all the filters off exept minerals and u fly over a herb. well thats gb thing

Ok, 2 problems i've noticed: (using 5.0.0.1)

1 - When a fight is going on at a graveyard, and for example you fight an undead death knight and he nukes you, so you now become a ghost right, glue will still run around the death knight you were fighting before death

2 - When the targeted player isn't on the same ground level as you, example a hunter stands on top of a hut and shoots down at you, glue will spin in place on the ground failing to realise that the player its supposed to 'glue' to is on a higher ground

cheers for the work btw

#1 sounds like a CC issue nothing to do with Glue.
#2, yeah sounds like a nav issue lol. i might have a look into it tho
