Fpsware is still alive

Half the windows and doors don't open/close and there are enough gaps between broken walls to let all that nice cold air in. Fortunately my computer room pumps out quite a bit of heat :)

Thanks for the offer, but with my wife, 2 dogs and 3 cats it would be a bit crowded :p
 
Nothing like a Quake or Hurricane, Katrina here, to make you sit up and go "Hmmm, i could have been wiped out and not a DAMN thing i could have done about it"
Glad you and yours are alright man. Houses can be rebuilt, eventually, but lives are a bit more difficult to get back.
 
Glad to see/hear your ok fpsware I hope that you and your family arent in "the dark" for to long and that the insurance pays out soon for ya!
 
holy crap. I have heard about the CHCH quake . Didn't know I knew anyone there. :( God bless you and yours. I hope things get back to normal as possible as quickly as they can.

Well, actually i have currently done nothing to help people who were severly affected by the quake, thought it's the least i can do :3
 
Those pictures linked above are mainly of downtown, heard on the radio yesterday that 10000 homes will need to be demolished in the surrounding suburbs and rebuilt, thats a lot of people with no-where to live for a long time, can probably come across the ditch and live with their cousins here in Brisbane though :)

It could be 4-5 years before our house is rebuilt. In the September quake, it was up to 2 years for rebuilds. And now that figure has easily doubled.
