[FREE] Studio Companion

Version 2.0.170511.1 of Studio Companion has been submitted to the store. The changes will become available once the update has been approved.

It seems to work for the users on my Discord. Even got a few thank you notes about the new solution. I am afraid I may have to see a log (Guide: How to Attach your Log).

Are you sure it is not accepting the group or is it just the role confirmation message that is not being clicked.

When this happens, the user usually is either from China (where the big firewall messes things up) or they are using an incorrectly configured VPN/Proxy. I would suggest that you join the Discord server linked in my signature. There is some information in the #FAQ channel about configuration and if you are from China, you can talk to the other users in the chinese chat. They can probably help you work around this issue. The database server itself is working fine right now.
 
Hello Studio 60.

My bot tends to get stuck quite often when doing a vendor run in New Dalaran after it have been farming some old raids. it just flies around above the vendor building. Ive attached a log for it when it gets stuck.

I have been running your old raiding profiles on some classes for some weeks now and most runs flaweless but this week i started to run the profiles on all classes and have some feedback for some things i saw but no logs for it sadly, since i often just checks in with Teamweiver and tries to unstuck the bot and move on.

Alot of the dps specs with healing abilities like ret paladins, shadow priests, Boomkin druids etx. actually have more then enough healing powers to do the Valithria Dreamwalker fight in ICC 25 HC if they're at level 110 but it just ignores the boss with the message not enough healing. Maybe there could be some sort of level scan that could make a level 110 allow to do the boss?

Ret Paladins seems to fail on killing the frost orbs in ICC Lich King 25 HC fight. at some point it seemed like they spawned faster then the ability there was used to kill them came off cooldown.

Boomking druids gets stuck on the mana trash in the curator room in Karazhan. if i remember correctly it was trying to just kill it with moonfire but when i manually used the sunfire they all died. I don't know why moonfire cant kill them or if it can. but i'll repport back next week when i run it again.

Phew, lots of stuff. And I'm answering from my phone so please bear with me, if I keep it short.

Dalaran navigation is a core issue. There is a navigation error thread in the main forum where these things need to be reported for bossland to fix them. I don't have the link at hand right now though.

The raid issues I will reevaluate. Especially the artifact weapons did change fights a lot, but I am also in the process of overhauling all raids, so please allow me a bit if time to address the issues. I am at a video game developer convention today and tomorrow and the WiFi in my hotel room is too bad to log onto wow in order to fix stuff.
 
hello i confirm the problem for the Dalaran vendor. The bot keeps trying to get inside the vendor house but from above and gets stuck hours here. It makes it very suspicious as the bot flies down and up, trying to enter through the roof.
Hope you can fix this bug soon. Could you allow for example using the vendor mount ?

Otherwise thanks for your work, i bought all your profiles ! Very good job :)

I have implemented a workaround, because waiting for the HB fix seems kinda pointless. I will submit it to the store now. Once it is approved, it should work fine.

Hey Studio-

I have a "should it do that" question. I'm also not sure what logs you'd need for this one. When using HB reloger, should the the settings that were saved for specific raids carry over to the next run? For instance, I've got a routine set up to run where all my toons will run through tempest keep. When switching from one toon to another, the settings get lost. I've got tempest keep set up as a mount run, but when it logs in to the next toon on the list, standard run will be selected. Also, all of my item level settings get lost.

This seems to happen from time to time when switching characters by hand. Are the raid settings character specific or something?
 
Hey Studio60, doing a trial of your retro bundle and currently loving it.

One issue I'm having is the automation of the Mount Hyjal raid, during Kaz'rogal, my character seems to just stand in the middle while everything around him dies. Eventually, they are defeated and the bot is left waiting 20+ minutes to wait for Thrall to respawn again.

Is this because I'm using a melee class?

Also seems that the Karazhan event won't complete- It keeps losing during the chess fight. Any way around this other than manual?

Raid difficulty settings and general item settings are set per character. This is because some characters want specific items that others don't need and some characters might not be able to do specific difficulties while others can. There are however "override settings" in each expansion. Those are global to all characters.

I submitted a change to Karazhan last night that should improve the fight. I will have to take another look though since I accidentally won and couldn't try it again.
