When will there be an update for the Botbase? It currently isn't functioning at all.
 
Thanks, just making sure core functionality and botbases are working before HB is abandoned for LegendaryBuddy or whatever it is.

Nothing will be abandoned. HB and LB are different products and will be both supported. No idea why you say this?
 
That's the fear of a lot of people that older 'Legacy' products will fall off of support in favor of newer products that don't have lifetime subscriptions.

Yes but we made an official FAQ about this topic and it does not matter what others fear under their tinfoil hat. Only listen to official news and you are informed :D

Please update to v.838 where Garrisonbuddy should be fixed now.

Nope:
"You currently have XX of your 20 active follower limit. Please deactivate some followers before starting the bot."

It's not deducting the "inactive" Followers correctly. It's taking the entire Sum() and asserting that they are active. Furthermore when you disable the missions via the Bot Config it will still result in the limit Log echo. There are no exceptions thrown in the log either, so its TRY/CATCH is internal and likely missfiring on the math.

XX is the total followers i have, even though outside the bot i can generate missions and they are only 20 in total active.

Every user needs to create an own thread and provide valid logfiles. Even if an issue looks the same to you it can have a different root cause.

There is nothing insecure in sharing a logfile. A logfile does not contain any info like charakter name etc.
Create an own thread and provide a logfile please or we cannot help you.

Actually it does. In the log files it contains date/time stamps, trinket configurations, class/race, likely EU/NA/RU zoning. Usernames of users likely logged into Windows, what version of Windows Build they are using. What spell sequences they are likely configured alongside at times talents.

You could use that to isolate millions of people in the same "categories" to relative low scoring with SQL / Oracle style database filtering/layering methods. Not to mention the log files are in a consistent endpoint URL wise, ergo, spidering this forum for that information and using them to catalogue the database(s) wouldn't be trivial - especially given you've not really branched out further from the generic forum software.

Point is, if i was in the company and i was tasked to hunt/gather on HB (given its popularity), these are all markers that can be used.

As for helping, I'm not in this instance wanting the feedback loop to remain open. I've indicated that there is a symptom, your folks will need to trace the root cause (or don't), but i suspect its not isolated to just one user and you'll likely find the codebase in GarrisonBuddy has some issues around Follower deduction from total counts.

I'd personally as a consumer of the product prefer you folks not allow log files to be seen by all users, as in the end, the pattern hurts us all.

I am sorry but please create your own thread and attach a logfile. No feedback anymore about this issue without.
 
I have same problem sais 23 of 20 active followers and i have v.838....
 
They aren't wrong. I have 20/20 followers with 6 inactive. And I'm getting you have 26 followers, please deactivate. Here's my log.

And they aren't kidding about logs either, it also shows users paths in there which Blizz staff could come in and read through and match to Warden logs and ban that way. You guys should find a way to make log file attachments something only Staff can read. Except maybe Apoc because well... you know.

Do you really think Blizzard is doing so and downloading logs from our system? hrhr tin-foil hat stuff ^^
Sorry but people play pokefarmer and report everything on facebook and care about logfiles this way.

We will check the follower stuff. Please wait for the next update.

Just letting you know this still is not working in the latest build. Follower bug still.
