Honorbuddy 2.0.0.3895 Discussion Thread

And in addition, HB uses about double CPU resources than WoW itself in Full HD resolution. I think something aint right there.
Memory footprint is not that big on HB, but it's CPU usage is immense (and no I don't have plugins running along, pure the testbuild).

HB 44%, WoW 16% in grind mode on a Core2Duo processor.

Its a known bug (check the release thread) and there's probably being worked on. Also keep in mind that its still a test version :)

[EDIT] It was a known bug in the previous release (http://www.thebuddyforum.com/archiv...test]-honorbuddy-2-0-0-3881-gb2-included.html) I am assuming its still there since build 3895 was kinda a quickfix release for the navigation errors.

After downloading this version, and continuing to use Kaz' 1-60 alliance profile, i will be right in the middle of a fight and my character will turn around and run away. In doing so it will attract more adds and die. My honorbuddy keeps saying "Blacklisting mount spot" when it runs. Is there anything i can do to prevent this?

I'm fully aware that this is a testversion. But not targetting other players when being attacked is a huge flaw imho.
And indeed it was as you stated yourself the previous release, so I re-reported the high CPU load on this testversion (not that they have the impression, noone is complaining so it's not happening anymore).

U have a class with a pet? If so that's your problem currently.

Is it possible to get this CC to kill the alliance who tries to kill me while i grind?

It seems that more people have issue the bot not attacking opposite faction while grinding. This was posted in a CC thread, so I suspect more people having issues with this?

is there not a way to let HB fight back im lvling on a pvp server sometimes you get ganked can i make HB let it fight back?

why is it that the bot kils a mob waits a few seconds and move on?

its around 5 4 seconds wait time with raphus cc but with the default priest it walks direckly afther killing a mob

Oh great. The PVP/Mixed mode crash is back with a vengeance. Including useless logs with no details on why wow froze (only happens with HB on mixed/pvp mode)

I despair I really do. Nothing is AFKable anymore.

Can we get some replies please?

Ok, I noticed this behaviour a few times now.

While running a grinding profile, and being attacked by the opposite faction it seems to ignore the opposite players and want to continue with the grind.
It doesn't attack the enemy player(s) at all so it seems it's not recognizing world PvP or something else is wrong.
These players also do not appear in the targetlist of HB.
Even though I have put the Faction ID in the profile (834 and 2068 for the Alliance and Horde), didn't make a difference.

I've witnessed this behaviour 3 times now, which needless to say resulted in my early death since the bot didn't fight back.

Any confirmation on the PvP part? It really looks stupid that the bot insists on a profile while he's being slaugthered by other players.
It's like a big fat sign on your head saying "I'm a bot, kill me and report me".
Seriously, I would expect you being on the ball a bit more than this lacking attitude.

Still no confirmation about previous reported shortcomings by a dev.....

All issues are posted on the bugtracker as well (Not that I expect anything from it but I did my part).
However the least you as development staff could do is either confirm the bugs, or accept them (on the bugtracker, because nearly everything is still on status "NEW" even reports of 2 months ago).
It's been 2 days now and all I see you do it lock threads with posts that don't please you, post more nonsense on the boards (have to keep the postcount going after all) and other tasks that are required.

While I have respect for the work you do, I don't have it for the way you treat your customers (that's what we are after all). We had a action going some time ago that I started about problem points, I'm sure you remember. Don't worry, I'm not gonna do it again, cba as they say in the game. But seriously, I would read that post again (if it still exists that is).

Work on your attitide a bit. It's necessary!

As they say on the official WoW forums, We would like a blue post :)

Regards, LiquidAtoR.

ps, this is no invitation to flaming, it will be removed anyways since this is the discussion thread for the test release. I've reposted valid reports that are unanswered up until now on which I would like a answer and/or confirmation that it's known, and being handled. Reporting things without confirmation is just plain silly (both here and on the bugtracker).

So it has been confirmed somewhere that this will shut down if that bot comes back online? Even though you can't dispute items (virtual) multiple complaints can close a persons account . Just an observation for future

No.

HB will never have the userbase that glider does and will get back. There are a lot of people that have already left the HB community and will never return just because of Tony himself and more have left when Kickazz was made a mod. PLus Merc is 10x the coder than any of the devs that currently work on HB/GB will ever be and to top it off the glider staff is way more respectful to the community and their customers/uesrs which the staff here at HB always disrespect the customers/users.

If you want to make personal attacks, go to a bar, drink beer and do it face to face. I've asked Tony to mute you for a bit.

I do agree with this I did a nice job on trying to make profile available for the community again after being inactive for some time. then I tought ahwell lets report a issue in the bugtracker and guess what, it never got responded to nor is fixed, while all quest profile makers are dealing with this issue as it's a huge pain now there isn't even a work around for it.

so hopefull issue get solved, as said its not flaming its pointing out.
