THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS! I started this 5/4/2016 @ 2PM PST and will be doing MANY more performance upgrades and bug fixes.

View attachment WizardCombat.csView attachment ClassMover.cs

Setup:

  1. Have a working FRESH copy of Demonbuddy with Trinity 2.41.26 (install from scratch), turn Demonbuddy off.
  2. Copy (overwrite) attached "ClassMover.cs" (above) file to Demonbuddy\Plugins\Trinity\Movement\
  3. Copy (overwrite) attached "WizardCombat.cs" (above) file to Demonbuddy\Plugins\Trinity\Combat\Abilities\
  4. Delete anything starting with "Trinity" in Demonbuddy\CompiledAssemblies\[RandomNumberHere]\
  5. Start Demonbuddy, Log In, Click Arrow Next to "Settings" in "Main Tab", Reset to Defaults -> Save & Close
  6. Restart DemonBuddy, make sure Trinity & Adventurer are Enabled.
  7. Input Trinity settings according to attached screenshots (below)
  8. There's currently a bug in trinity when "Ignore High Hitpoint Monsters" is enabled - disable this despite the screenshots.

Gear setup:

  • 2-Piece Chantodo's
  • 2-Piece Endless Walk
  • 6-Piece Firebird
  • Halo of Arlyse
  • Fazula's Improbable Chain
  • Ancient Parthanan Defenders.
  • KANAI CUBE: Orb Of Infinite Depth
  • KANAI CUBE: The Swami
  • KANAI CUBE: Obsidian Ring Of The Zodiac

Skill setup:

  • ACTIVE: Explosive Blast - Chain Reaction
  • ACTIVE: Archon - Teleport
  • ACTIVE: Teleport - Safe Passage
  • ACTIVE: Ice Armor - Crystallize
  • ACTIVE: Arcane Torrent - Static Discharge
  • ACTIVE: Magic Weapon - Deflection
  • PASSIVE: Blur
  • PASSIVE: Evocation
  • PASSIVE: Audacity
  • PASSIVE: Unstable Anomaly

Gem Guide:
  • Head: CDR Reduction
  • Weapon: +Crit Dmg
  • Everything Else: +Int
  • Legendary 1: Gogok of Swiftness
  • Legendary 2: Bane of the Trapped
  • Legendary 3: Bane of the Stricken

Results: Speedfarming GR65 in 6-8 minutes per run with 10K int / 5.5K vit @ 620 paragon with a shitty 2200dps weap. Zero augments.

TODO: Keep improving the archon combat routine, it doesn't blink unless its to a combat target right now, I want it to use TP more. (done! at least the teleport part)
TODO: Also rewrite the explosive blast / teleport code to more effectively utilize Halo of Arlyse and Orb Of Infinite Depth.

I noticed the bot is dumb and keeps focusing on 1-2 mobs at a time for some reason, I've no idea where I can find settings on how to fix this. (fixed! current rev avoids this.)

Changelog:

5/5/16 1:03AM:
* Updated WizardCombat.cs and ClassMover.cs (please re-download / set up)
* Teleport is now used while in Archon Form for both OOC and to-combat-target navigation.
* Updated Trinity settings to make sure it no longer gets stuck fighting 1-2 mobs at a time.
* This version is stable, gr65s in 4-7 min each with around ~11k int and a non-ancient weapon

If the updates running gr75 for me atm turn out to be stable over the night I'll release tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing this. Its definitely way better than before even though I did not get the results you mentioned (got a 11 minute kill in GR 65 with 700 paragon/a few ancients). I also noticed that the bot would regularly attack single mobs/few mobs and doesn't seem to be affected by trinity settings like "ignore high hp enemies" or cluster sizes. Not too sure how to fix that but I'll keep trying.

And yeah, it would certainly help if more teleports would be cast.

Could you share your avoidance settings? Do you have "path around aoe" and the other options on that page enabled?

Hey nightwish218,

I've observed the same issues and am trying to get help on them - see my attached screenshot for the chat log.

Different classes are encountering the same trouble at the so I assume it's something in Trinity core and / or base.

I'll keep looking at this since it's definitely a huge impediment, also, I'll have time to work on this in detail over the weekend.

Hey, apparently there's a bug in Trinity where you have to keep "Ignore High HP Monsters" off for it to properly use the settings - I've updated the guide /w this info.

And yeah, it would certainly help if more teleports would be cast.

Yeah I definitely agree, especially in Archon form when it's looking for enemies to fight - I'll work on this as my next item.

Hi psyked916, these settings run T10 normal rifts really quickly also.

Also, bump for everyone else - new instructions, trinity files and trinity settings have been updated in the original post.

Hey, its working great so far, but my wizard doesnt use teleport in archon. I've done everything from step 1-8

greetings,

telya

Working OK for me so far, thanks for your work!
Doing 60s right now still raising.

Same here, it's going OK. Just cleared a 50grift in 5 minutes, hope it'll get even better.

Thank you for the guide btw!

Trinity 2.31.38

Lanvi,

1) This was released first (Trinity might've used my code) and comes with a guide .. Xzjv is probably busy fixing other stuff, I'm deving this just for Firebird Archon GR/TX
2) The performance seems to be superior to even 2.31.38 Trinity ...for now. He might improve it more. Idk. this custom mod is beating over half of the Wiz leaderboard)

Dude, no offence, you guide helped me correct my crappy build/gear. THank you!

But really having latest trinity without replacing specific files - way more preffered way for most of players.

Lanvi, I understand - I might've over-reacted, I apologize. (And xzjv, if you're reading this, you're welcomed to pull my code into default trinity going forward, I'm a career software engineer and would be happy to help you now that I'm somewhat familiar with the Trinity code) Unfortunately, for the time being, my goal is just to let people bot with a build that's similar to what's currently used for pushing leaderboards so they can use that same gear to play with their friends and try to set records instead of botting with DMO only to Augment their main gear set and still be stuck botting low GRs.

If other people also express frustration at the custom setup, I can release a batch wizard or installer to mount these changes onto a clean Demonbuddy setup.

Quick question: Isn't it better to disable desintegrate wave ? you lose the dps bonus of your passiv and this spell does way less damage imo than auto attack

It's a good spell, but it might be best disabled to force archon to be in range of more mobs so it hits them with Chantodos.

Testing your proposed change for a few runs, if it sees greater / equal performance as normal I will update the guide.
