just finished monitoring 20 level55 rifts. 10 with .47, 10 with .59
the outcome is that .47 is indeed faster, but not by a huge margin
on .47 runs, I had 2 fails and time left goes from 1mn to almost 6mns.
on .59 runs, 1 fail and time left goes from 25s to 4mns and half.
fails are due to bad luck, shitty maps and elites with knockback and nightmare, which are a pain in the ass with this build. plus some time lost with backtracking from the bot.
if we consider that .47 is not using only Fists of Thunder on single target (which is more efficient) then .47 is indeed faster.
I watched carefully, but I can't really see why this difference.
the only thing specific to .59 I noticed is that the bot is making small pauses (1-3s) when it has to switch combat mode between single and multiple targets. it's easily noticeable on guardian fights, when boss spawns additional enemies.
some general observations, common to both versions :
- bot isn't using Dashing Strike OOC properly even though most of the time you have 2 charges left at the end of a fight. it is only doing so when there is also spirit left. accumulated time loss at the end of the rift might be worth considering.
- bot goes too far away from actual fight to apply static charge on other enemies. it is especially time consuming if those enemies are in another room and bot walking there instead of using Dashing Strike (which is probably due to the 4000ms setting, I know)
- bot often wastes time finishing the last enemy of a pack instead of rushing to the next one.
- (mentioned above or in another post) about bot not picking up elites globes, it is a common problem when using Dashing Strike. I had the same problem with Uliana build. Setting 'Wait for loot - Delay after kill' to 1000ms kind of solves it, but it still happens on rare occasions. For example, when you finish an elite in a corner, globes will be on the same spot at your feet. if bot dashes away without simply moving first, it will not pick up the globes.
- not really static charge related, but in comparison health globes priority is too high. I've seen bot going back and forth from guardian, trying to pick up globes and despite being already full health
EDIT: noticed another thing, maybe not only related to static charge monk. just finished another rift, with The Choker as guardian. bot pauses again while boss makes some kind of cry just before casting a big green AoE. pause occurs during casting animation
