[Guide] Everything about Season 3 Monk Botting from T6-GR52+
Mini update: Mini fix to try to keep Dashes from going to 0 occasionally.
UPDATE 9: Version 1.01 Added with Taeguk and Rift Guardian improvements.
GR52 Clear:
[video]https://vid.me/e/dXHG[/video]
1)Introduction:
I decided to make a new Seasonal Monk a couple of weeks ago, and to my delight they are pretty awesome to bot (and to play in general). Having seen a few threads asking about optimal builds and such, I decided to put together a little collaboration of my experiences with botting, and how I've been refining the builds to push higher GR's or faceroll lower ones faster.
Massive thanks to Quin69 for the original build I used off diablofans!
2) DB Version and Profiles:
This is what I am currently using, please check the respective threads for any bugs/issues with any specific profiles, as some things may not work as well for you as they have for me.
DB: Beta 1.1.2313.521
QuestTools: Current release version
Trinity: 2.9.1 Fork attached at the end of this post.
Armory: Used for Gambling
Rifts: R-Rift Beta
Bounties*: Custom A1 New Bounties
Questing: Full Questing
Keywardens**: Brutal Key Farm
Relogger***: YAR
*: Have added my profile for A1 in attachments, just has the main problem bounties blacklisted, nets about 4 caches an hour for me currently.
**: DO NOT USE THE ZERG PROFILE, Trinity issue means it doesn't attack Corrupt Growths in A4. The profile that I have posted on that thread (on Page 52) is fully working. I've linked it at the bottom in case. Mine averages 120 seconds to find any of the Keywardens. Works out roughly at 4 full keys an hour on T6 (with the 50% drop rate).
***: Due to some instability with the DB release (crashes and such) I started using YAR. It's simple to use and has helped massively with keeping the bot up and running for prolonged periods of time.
I do not use any other Plugins or Profiles.
3)Dual Wield Build and Gear selections:
GR51+: Diablo III Character Planner
Faceroll T6 anything at a crazy speed: Diablo III Character Planner
Both of these have the paragon skill point allocation for P600.
This is BiS with perfect rolls, obviously not my gear but these are the dream! As you can see both set-ups are heavily dependent on CDR/RRC. Prioritize CDR>RRC.
Rough Guidelines to clear GR52:
CDR: 60%
Sheet DPS: 1.2m
Toughness Unbuffed (but with passives): 45m
Recovery: 3.5m
A few notes on this gear;
Firstly, as you can see the difference between the GR51 gear set and the T6 one is rather small, skill selection is the major change, you can use the T6 gear for lower GR's and as you progress to higher ones:
i) Start using Esoteric Alteration and Gogok.
ii) Replace The Witching Hour with String of Ears when you feel you need the toughness, which shouldn't really be an issue till at least GR48.
iii) Switch In-Geom to Azurewrath/Gift of Silaria when you feel the CDR effect from it is not worth it, I normally swap mine around GR45.
Weapon:
If you do not have a well rolled Azurewrath/Pig Sticker then any 1h will do as long as one of them has Life on Hit, and they both have Cooldown Reduction. Gift of Silaria's are nice due to the 5 Primary stats.
As long as you have LOH on one of the weapons and some points in LOH on Paragon you'll be fine.
Amulet:
In my opinion the amulet on both profiles is perfect, however I don't know how long it would take to get one like that for other people. Alternatives are Eye of Elitch/Immunity Necklaces with the same Affixes, so roll with it and test some out, I'm farming for a perfect Hellfire as we speak!
Belt:
String of Ears is for the higher GR's of course, it can be swapped out for Vigilante Belt or The Witching Hour for lower GR's. If you can get 60% CDR with The Witching Hour equipped then use that, otherwise use the Vigilante Belt.
The rest of the Gear is not viable to change so those are the only items to concern yourself over. That's the skills and gearing sorted.
4) Flying Dragon Build and Gear:
GR51+: Diablo III Character Planner
Notes:
Hellfire: A Hellfire with Dex/CC/CHD would be fine, with any of the 5 passives.
Flying Dragon: 10% Damage is better than 15% Dash Damage. But the difference is marginal so don't worry too much! Thanks MyTee for pointing this out to me.
5) Followers:
Personally I use Templar because the skillset available is very beneficial to us monks!
Gear:
Legendary Relic: Cannot Die
Rings/Amulet: Attack speed and CRD
Weapon: Azurewrath with CDR and a high% to freeze on hit.
Skills:
Heal, Loyalty, Charge, Inspire
6) Trinity Settings:
Download latest version of Trinity.291.1.**
To install:
7)XP Tips and Tricks:
Highest Legendary/Hour: R-RIFT Beta ~GR35
Highest Exp/Hour: R-RIFT Beta ~GR35-45
Both running around 30Lph/10b+Xph at GR35. The rates for legendaries reduce as you get to 45, and Xp stays constant till around then too, obviously with a little leeway either side.
For maximum XP:
In GR's run with a Ruby in helm, I have tested this and it provides a flat 41% boost to xp whilst inside the rift, overall provides roughly a 33% boost if you factor in Rift Completion Xp from Orek.
In T6 run with a Gem of Ease if you have enough Dps to faceroll it (which you should happily) it provides roughly a 10% increase in Xp at rank 50.
My test runs for GR's with/without gems:
8)Conclusion:
Hope this helps out some of you reaching higher GRs and faster speeds! I cleared GR50 at 175 Hours played, and probably could have cleared 51 at that time too, so only takes around a week to get a monk to this stage
.
Personal Highest GR 100% Botted: GR53
Please please do leave any feedback you have, any changes you think would be an improvement, and any information you feel I have left out. I will strive to keep this post updated and fully informative! And have fun of course
.

beardi said:TLDR:
For T6 stack +XP per kill if you're really going for maximum xp rates, %bonus xp effects are negligible.
For GR stack +Bonus XP, +XP per kill effects are negligible.
My test runs for GR's with/without gems:
beardi said:First Rift (GR35) no bonus xp: 2476m-3081m in 3:30 is a 605m gain minus 145m completion Xp
460m for the rift.
Second Rift (GR 35) 41% Bonus xp: 3081m-3886m in 2:49 is a 805m gain minus 145m completion Xp
660m for the rift.
Calculate then the rifts alone and we get 460m vs 660m which is a 43% increase with the Gem (the 2% would be from the different mobs/elites in the GR's)

10) Trinity Changelog:
291.1.01:
Code:
[LIST]
[*]MonkCombat.cs
[LIST]
[*]Added Epiphany to cast OOC if FD/Insight rune is equipped to keep spirit regeneration at the maximum, I'm not 100% sure about this change, it can effect survival at higher GRs, will test more.
[*]Changed TargetUtil.GetBestPierceTarget to new TargetUtil.GetBossPierceTarget for better handling of RGs with adds.
[/LIST]
[*]PlayerMover.cs
[LIST]
[*]Removed && !CombatBase.IsInCombat from OOC check so that Dash is used both in and out of combat (I had issues with mobs being ignored but still being classed as InCombat)
[*]Increased time between cast of Dash to 2250 to save spirit.
[*]Reduced minimum distance for Dash to 10f from 15f.
[/LIST]
[*]TargetUtil.cs
[LIST]
[*]Added a new static GetBossPierceTarget to handle RGs better.
[/LIST]
[*]UnitWeighting.cs
[LIST]
[*]Reduced unit.IsBoss weight to 10000. Trash spawns are classed as Is.Boss.
[*]Added new weighting for (unit.IsBoss && unit.IsElite) at 30000. RG's are classed as both, and I've yet to see any other mob with the same classification, so these changes fix the weighting issues.
[/LIST]
[*]DataDictionary.cs
[LIST]
[*]Removed avoidance for Man Carver floor Aoe
[*]Removed avoidance for Perendi. Have tested at GR56 and with EP/IS up we can tank it happily (with String of Ears and decent Phys Res).
