Are you playing from steam? Is it possible that it may cause it to fail?

Edit: I downloaded non-steam client and it works...

So stupid, well my Steam email apparently doesn't exist on the non-steam poe website so I can't download and play the non-steam one, they shouldn't have this issue, I'm actually really pissed off now, half a day been working for normal users, but just because of an executable name (that can't be renamed with steam) the stupid bot won't work, read this topic developers and seriously fix it, been waiting long enough, and my £25 better not be a waste.

You can contact GGG support to change it to normal account, which enables you to use the non-steam client. I intend to do so myself.
And please don't hate the developers, they spend alot of time so YOU can bot as easy as possible. Expect some downtime once in a while

With the patch and potentially staff at GGG who browse forums like these, they'll know exactly why people want to unlink their account, so no thanks I don't want to be banned, I want the bot developers to add something or remove whatever the hell it is that links the bot to a single executable name, which has no logic, the executable shouldn't matter in the slightest.
 
I agree bot has been unavailable to me entire day, I only had 1 month sub and it was my first time. I hope I can get refund on the day(s) lost.
 
I got the patch for the bot in the morning about 9 hours ago and it has been working all day for me.
Playing path of exile through steam as well.
Bot is working great.

This, somehow some people manage to bot with the latest build wadaf....

Going to close this as it's covered in our FAQ:
Q. There was an update and now the bot doesn't work.
A. Please wait for us to update the bot. We do not do automatic updates and must check over the changes each time. Path of Exile is a game that patches quite frequently in off-times for most people, so some patches might take longer than others to get updates deployed, depending on when they take place. Under certain cases, the Beta version of the bot will be updated and working before the Release version is. Please see the "Beta vs Release" section of the Exilebuddy Project Guide.
