Single target you should be using HOG. If you got outdps'd by another warlock using CW then I am going to bet that there is something else going on such as you moving more then he did, or him having better positioning on the boxes to dot them up.
The only real time a CW is better then HOG single target is then the mob is going to die very soon and you won't get the benefit from the dot. On Oregorger this isn't really the case since you can almost always pop your HOGs on the boss.

That might be possible. Theory is like this: If you have high procs and DS up in ideal world HoG will be better if your target won't die before dot expires. In practice if you have DS up and a strong proc that will expire in 4-5 seconds then it is better to cast CW since HoG's dot won't reach full duration under procs while CW will benefit from everything.
Millz has to make it an option in demonic and to set it up properly, that means calculating HoG travel time with dot uptime (1 and 2 stacks) to decide if it is beneficial to cast HoG or spam CW's to make use of procs. It's possible to do it and would mean a nice dps increase. I suppose Millz is still catching up on reading since we made a lot of posts since he went to take a plunge
for those of you who didnt know-HB devs gave cr developers a notice to minimize lua calls for fear that blizz is using new detection method that involves lua calls to the client-that is why enyo was modified to eliminate or minimize lua calls to the client-unfortunately i was banned while in a raid starting at gruul for 6 months bummer-been using demonic premium since i rolled my lock

I am having a problem using this it bugs out sometimes saying spell not ready yet, out of rage why is it doing this?? it works most the time but sometimes it just stuffs up and has problems using spells..
Disable shadowfury in talants tab.

Try enabling facing and see if that helps.
Cata hotkey overrides the automated conditions and only casts cataclysm. You'd need to manually DS first if that's what you want to do.
Use DS on chaos bolt aura proc. That way it'll cast DS before CB when a trinket has activated - meaning you'll have 2 buffs ready for the CB.
Lua seems to be a hot topic at the moment - so a little explanation as far as my products go...
None of my products register global variables within the client. There's 2 calls in the rotation which registers local variables (I'll not go into details to be safe) that are dropped after the calculations have completed. This is generally considered safe, but just to be sure I've reworked them so that there's absolutely no footprint left within the WoWClient at all. This isn't anything to be concerned about though, safety is my #1 priority, these changes are just precautionary.
The wow client chat output (which says stuff like AoE Disabled, AoE Enabled) is going to be removed completely. There's a setting to disable it on the Advanced tab, but this will no longer be available at all. I'm replacing it with overlay alerts (which can be enabled/disabled from the settings).

Regarding Cata hotkey I would like to add that if you manually click DS and then use cata hotkey it will actually go to meta form asap since DS is active, so casting DS and then hotkey in normal form (wich is used on almost all AoE situations in BRF) is impossible at this moment. If we stop the routine to cast DS manually we can't use hotkey

Also, one thiing I notice when playing affliction.
At the pull, with high haste-levels, the routine casts multiple haunts if you use pot+haunt prepot macro.

Long time no speak. I had a break from WoW just before WoD came out and looking to get back into it. Glad to see this routine is still going from strength to strength, keep up the good work. I have always been a Desto lock as this is the spec I enjoy most. How is destro in WoD these days using this routine.
I know for MoP this routine was fecking brilliant and I guess it's still the same in WoD
Anyway looking forward to returning to WoW and using this again!

Imo destro is prolly the worst spec to play right now. Not because of the routine but the spec itself.
That said you can play whatever your confortable with.....there all relatively close single target but destro suffers the most from movement.
