1-50 AFK - I dont get it.

Hi guys,

Granted im new the botting in Final fantasy,

I don't understand how you can turn your fatebot on and leave it for 72 hours and come back to find your new class is 50 ?

How do you keep your characters gear at a standard that you wont get one shot and you level up ?
 
I didn't think you could,

But others are claiming to have done it.
 
You can't just turn on fate bot and expect it to do everything by itself like that. It just doesn't work that way. Just go into a zone you are comfortable with, blacklist the fates you dont want to do and your set. Once you are done in that zone, move to another. Well, providing you update your gear when necessary.

I AFK botted all my classes to 50 by doing fate bot, I just came back and checked on my character, did repairs, and bought gear every 3-4 hours. I don't think anyone has made the claim of doing 100% AFK... Also if you spend extra for HQ gear or craft HQ gear, you can make that gear last a lot longer...
 
It's possible but you need to configuring your fate bot and blacklist all fate where you die
I have Mining/Botany 50 in 5 days, Order bot are amazing

And fate bot helping me to up 20/30 in 10 days (need to check the bot status/repair every time)

You could use plugins to repair and change locations.
If you already have the gear I'm sure you can make a plugin to change it as you level. Save the click locations if all else fails.
If it's not you're first class you would have to script a bunch of quests but as a secondary class, it's totally possible

Yes im fully aware of that.. Hence my statement.
 
Bot doesn't seem to work for shit. I'm a level 5 PUG and went out to Horizon to do the low level FATEs. It just runs around wasting time not even attempting to do them. Wtf? It even likes to run through and aggro a bunch of shit near the FATE and try and fight it afterwards, not even attempting to do the FATE and ultimately dies. Sigh.

when you need help, post in support subforum
and attach the log file for when you had the problem

btw without a plugin to move you around, it's up to you to choose where to bot fates and you're probably not using a cr that supports your character...

Seems to move around on it's own so I dunno and I'm using the MagiTek CR. Sweet, 3rd death in a row running through shit, aggroing it, going to the FATE and then turning around to fight 3 mobs. Lol wow this pathing...

It also ignores "The Villain" FATE for some odd reason even though it fits the level criteria and it's NOT blacklisted.

Is it white listed or does it involve interacting with an npc?

Once again, 99% sure you aren't using a cr that supports your character. Would have to see log to be sure.
 
The CR's For this bot are amazing...

im pretty sure it can heal in raids better then i can lol
 
I guess my main issue can be related to how the bot runs and that's strictly up to the developer(s) to improve upon it. However, I still think it's acceptable and don't regret my purchase. The bot attacks fine and all that now, it was just the running through and aggroing like 3 mobs that have the same name as the FATE mobs and as soon as it says "FATE JOINED" it turns around and tries to fight them. That's up to the developer(s) to fix that.

By strictly up to the developers I'm assuming you mean strictly up to the community.
Buddy products have always been about providing the api and core for the community to tell it what to do :P
 
:( I watched this bot complete the story quests from 19-23 last night its apparently capable of doing from 1-35 ( I didn't witness this) at this stage with plans to finish the entire story....

However I don't believe the guys have any intention of releasing there profiles/plugins to the general public.. They make a living of power levelling characters in various MMO's FF14ARR being one of them.. I guess releasing it to the pubic would eat into their profits.

A real shame, I would pay upwards of 300 bucks us for a 1-50 questing profile, they all so have some other really cool profiles.. They said the only issue that holds this bot back is the inability for it to see damage (hence avoid it) and if they could do that, they could make profiles to run dungeons and even raids..

Id say that's a pretty good bot :)

ps... No I will never get access to those profiles don't even ask (it was just a video clip)... I think you would need to sell your sister to get access to this stuff lol

You could learn how to make quest profiles with advanced logic and plugins by looking at honorbuddy/etc as an example.

You could avoid most damage spells by checking target/nearby enemies and comparing their spells to a database that holds ids, type(frontal;aoeself;aoetarget), range and running away.

Probably not raid worthy but...
