[Grandfathered] Stars - Flurry From The Sky

Hey Mirabis,
I was just doing a little testing with the different druid (moonkin) routines to see which one performs best and I have noticed something strange with your stars routine: While standing at the boss dummies in Orgrimmar, your CC does not pull the Incarnation cooldown while in raiding rotation. Switching rotation to Questing will use Incarnation. Before you ask: Yes cooldown+multidotting is enabled by hotkey.

Another pretty strange thing I noticed is that the routine casts healing touch regularly! The druid has full live and it starts casting two healing touches ones in a while... Even when I turn off all the defense and healing stuff it still casts rejuvenation and healing touch. Version is 2.0.2.15 I do not know if it is because of this, but for me in 4 out of 6 times your Stars Routines has pretty bad dps compared to Tuanha's Druid All in One thing. :(

Any ideas and or suggestions?

I noticed the same and tested Stars vs Tuanha's Druid and Pewpewpew and the results went in favor of the others. I am ilvl 581 and 14/14 heroic cleared and I was hoping for more output. I am unsure if it's settings or what, but I would love some sort of breakdown. Thanks

Can u upload that log, as I'm already investigating but that might help. Looking at what u described it seems that RestBehavior got called when it was not neccesary causing it to heal itself.

PewPewPew uses/used SimC T15 priority for Incarnation, Tuanha I've no idea... but it looks like the new update of T16 Rota caused the system to unalign.. and it keeps waiting for certain checks and ends up never casting it. I will revert the chance asap after some testing. SimC tells us to pop it with INT trinkets now... but not everybody has it.. so I have to make an all-round check for people who have it and who don;t.

- Cyclone, Escape are/can be bugs
- Solar beam, mass entanglement will only be used for interrupting and/or by hotkey. It will use Mass entanglement at the escape sequence if no other spell matches as well.
- low dps can be caused by the Incarnation bug
- turning weird, requires more testing.

PS: U might want to post the logs to the BGFarmer thread as well, they have a few errors that might Interest Millz.

But both logs u posted are from TuanHa Druid and the list of available routines doesn't list Stars at all.

This is because of the different requirements for using major cooldowns.

PewPewPew uses them more often as it has more loosely conditions. Tuanha I can't say, but Stars has some more conditions which seem to affect overall dps in a negative way. Already working on it, it's on beta as we speak.

[10:01:37.795 N] [37:795]: [Healing Touch][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No dmg Buff]

But I guess even there is no damage buff (whatever that means), the routine could/or should do something more useful than rejuvenation or healing touch as boomkin...

[09:57:12.363 N] [12:363]: Talents: Displacer Beast, Yseras Gift, Mass Entanglement, Incarnation, Mighty Bash, Dreamof Cenarius,

You specced Dream of Cenarius, thats why it's using Healing touch to boost next cast. But the double cast shouldn't happen and should be fixed.

thats what i thought, too. so i already specced something else, and it is still casting healing spells :( just got one of the older logs...

Could u show me that? are u running an AFK botbase?
 
I want do 30 waves Proving Grounds . So can it do afk , or i need just control moving ? I try to do it , but routine dont target enemy

You can't AFK it at the moment.
