Hello,

Okay before I get flamed. I have never ran any bot in my life and I do not know much about it.

I have read a lot on a few post about it and I am trying to find the safest way. Before you post there is no safe way ... Well Shut up I said safest.

The reason why I want to bot is because I don't have much time to play and I am sick and tired to trying to run for the #@!$#!$#$#@ Ring of Royal Grandeur.

I think there is no script yet for running cach in Act 1. But having other Legendary would help me be happy.

From what I have read so far.

Do not bot more than what a human can do.​
Do not run multiple accounts on the same IP address.​
Rename the .exe of your bot application.​
Do not use speed hack (I don't even know if this bot has it)​

I plan to ran my bot only a few hours per day and I plan to be at home as well when it runs.

I am trying to avoid ban as much as possible since I have both Collector edition for Diablo, I really don't want to loose them.

If you have any other tips for it would be much appreciated.

People claim about specific "script" that you ran that can help you getting banned. I read about YAR something I have no freaking idea what this is.

Before I posted this I have actually search for similar post about this and found none. I know that people claimed that it's "random". Well after 2 years that has to be enough info to find the safest way to run a bot.

I don't want to bot for performance. if my bot can get me 1 legendary in 2 hours or 500k gold I will be happy.
 
Probably the "safest" way to bot would be to run the rifter with bounties. It will do all act 4 bounties for you, then do a rift and end game after bot kills boss.

Personally I bot 24/7 and really won't care if I get banned, but if I were concerned I would probably do above and only bot on a schedule when at home.

I think the biggest thing is to not be in a clan, do not have people on your friends list that you do not personally know and trust. Set your status to busy so people can't invite you take games or request invites from you etc.

Getting banned is so random that it is hard to tell why it happens. I would think that being personally reported is the biggest trigger.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I forgot to put that in my list of Not to do. I do have a couple of people that I do not personally know in my friend list and I will removed them. I haven't bought the apps yet but I plan to do it.

Question tho.

Why Act 4 bounties? Why not Act 1?

Is there a script for Act 1 Bounty?
 
Beside technical stuff, where you can't do anything about being safe or not. The safest way is to monitor your bot. This guarantees instant access if it is stuck. Beside that, you already have the most important things gathered together.
 
Another question.

I know that if you get banned. it's only Diablo 3 licensees that gets banned.

But my question is. If I get caught. Do I get instantly permanent banned. Or I get a first 24 hours warning?

Other thing about bots. I have been told to avoid any "autohit" that doesn't have a "randomness in them"

Like when your bot is picking up items or sell them it needs to have a random pattern. Does DeamonBuddy have that feature?

There are pritty good Act 1 Bounty scripts.

But as you typed at start, i Think the safest is to play only an small amount that a normal human would.. i do know some ppl playing 10-12 hours some Days.. but be carefull and only use it sometimes is probebly safest.. I normaly do it while watching my TV series and stuff on my PC.. =) that way i dont miss wispers and move if it gets stuck..

When it comes to you question about Selling good gear.. well you have the option to set what to sell and not.. i NEVER let my bot press the legendarys, that i whana do myself.

It does drop from a4 but so does everything. Focus on A1 normal. I lead my bot where to go on the large areas, than let the bot finish. I got my ring (shitty stats) within a couple days. about 15 tries.

I also bot 24/7 on the highest exp profile i can find. Really dont care if i get banned at this point.
 
I see that there is a lot of Adventure script. Any recommendation which one to use?
 
I mentioned the ACT 4 bounties as there is a profile in Rifter that will do both those and the rift. There are other bounty profiles for act 1 that you can use that aren't afkable.
 
Why do your clan mates even matter? Can't you not report people not anyways? Whenever I right click on some there's only an option to report for harassment/swearing.
 
I be grinding that Hell rift////Bounties Act 4 like 24/7 non stop!

24/7 for 5 months now.

Jealousy in this game is too big and most people(even buddies) will backstab you whenever its possible.

I would say that in fact, clan and buddies are the factors that can get you banned the easiest if you bot. Being on a clan(especially if you are on a big one) its the easiest way to get busted if you bot, as if someone sees that you are always doing the same routine for hours they will whisper you to see what is happening and if you dont answer that person then you are pretty much doomed.

I don't want to be that guy, but here it is. You shouldn't bot on any account that you feel this way about.

All of this really does not matter. I took all kinds of precautions and I still got banned so I just thought why the hell not and started botting 24/7 and haven't been banned since. I even used one of my new diablo keys on the same battle.net as my previously banned account had been on and it hasn't made any difference.

If you're going to bot, bot 24/7. You're wasting time otherwise. Multiple accounts under the same name and IP address botting 24/7 are just as safe as botting 3-5 hours a day on different profiles on different IPs.

Speed hacks and exploits on the other hand... No idea how safe they are. My guess is that Blizzard will be more likely to ban people using those.

#1 Rule for botting in general: Never bot on an account you don't want to lose.

Once you press start on that botting program, you can consider your account banned. Bot long enough and it will happen. Bot for a short time and your account might be flagged and banned many months later.
