Error 42002?

Its a battlenet server issue. Other people have had it too, just google it. I dont belive what people say, about talking to gamemasters. Its tinfoiled people saying stuff like that. If you are scared of losing your account, DONT BOT. But if you dont bot then this game is boring as hell
 
This error is old (like 2012) : Patch 15 Unofficial Changes + Official Patch Notes - News - Diablo Fans

It has nothing to do with blizz suspecting/monitoring anything. I don't get how people can think like that... Is just the servers protecting themselfs (too many games etc). I bet alot of you are scared of this normal error and use insta leave for example (wich is by far the easiest way to show blizz you are using something).

Looks like its a throttling error when the servers are busy, like posted above. Its 4am right now and my settings are 1-2 seconds per game, running 86 gph with no errors. Ill sit and watch for a bit longer, to make sure.

I do agree, this game blows without the bot. I was at the point where i didn't care anymore. Leveled all classes to 70, now im working on HC. Ill level a few to 70 and than work on gear. Almost make another WoW account with this $20 deal... Fighting the urge. Going to watch some GOT on HBO and see what happens.

This. If I didn't bot I wouldn't even be "playing" this game, they already nerfed everything that was fun to me. So yeah they can ban me, I don't really give a shit anymore. The only thing I did was increase the game wait time to try and avoid getting the error, because it cuts gph/lph in half.

What ever works, learn to read others posts if you want info and dont want to be insulted. Turd.

Looks like the error is back. I am thinking its tracked by the user. I was running 100+ gph for about 20 mins before it started. Doesn't look like a server thing when its 430 AM
 
error is back, getting it aswell again. for now, I use a mouse autoclick tool that clicks on the spot where the error message pops up every 10 seconds, so in case it comes up it will automatically be closed and the bot can continue without getting stuck.

still slows down the whole farming significantly. getting error a lot. went from 60 gph ghom t6 to around 44. sucks big time.

Lucky, im sitting at 22.6 gph out of 100+ last night.

Started yesterday alll day and still happening right now. Been afkbotting since monday 24/7 and that just started.

Guys i maight found the fix for this.
havent had any error since a couple hours af running ghom at 62gph.
ill see if i have luck after i come back from work which is about 12 hours from now.
if still goes ill tell how to stop this error !!!!
 
I just cut my GPH down from 60+ to around 50 by equipping crappier gear with MF on it, and change things up by doing bounties or rifts for a while here and there. Seems to have stopped the error.

Seems im getting error while running The A5 Chest profile. I am running ZK now at about 52 gph and not having the error. Doubt there watching us.
 
While I am sure most of you are watching both the general post and the support - I figured I'd post my finding on both pages

So here we go.

Last night I decided to test the 42002 error a bit closer - most of us were hoping it was a throttle

Here was my results:

I logged into a legit account (one that has only been played by hand) - set up a macro while sleeping
The macro did Resume Game -> wait 15 secs -> leave game -> wait 10 secs -> resume game.
I ran this macro for 10 hours - the GPH should have been right around 100-130. after 10 hours no error 42002.

At that point made a brand new VM (Virtual Machine) -> switched my *** server (not the usual one I've been using) -> loaded up d3 + dbuddy -> logged into account that I've been using for botting
Ran ghom profile for a little over an hour at around 48-49 gph - boom error 42002.

So at this point these are my theories:

The error is related to some kind of account flag
The error is a throttle that takes into account what content your running

Next thing I am going to test is taking random 3-5 minute breaks every 30-45 minutes - I'll let you guys know what I find

Edit: All my testing has been done on NA servers - my location is also NA
