Do a fresh reinstall of everything. EZUpdater has been updated more than a few times and it looks to me like you're running an old settings file on a new version of EZUpdater, so EZUpdater plugin is not reading your settings file properly.
"Invalid working copy" bug was from config from a few versions ago being different from the latest config type. Also remember to copy SharpSvn.dll to the same directory as demonbuddy.exe

I may be tinfoiling here but I have found that deleting the CompiledAssemblies folder fixes some bugs for updated plugins by forcing DB to recompile its plugins. So yeah.. do a fresh install and see if the bugs still persist.

Dang, you must be catching up on some reading, I remember that, but dont remember when I posted it.. Atleast a week or 2 ago. Although, that is not the issue at all. Ezupdater only functions while the bot is running, and my trouble wasnt due to it continuing to run, it was it updated trinity to a version only supported by the latest DB beta and it would not compile afterwards.. I submitted that Idea as a fix for this. Because I use RYAR with force enable all plugins (without using that feature, sometimes it launches and does not load them.. unknown reason) .. However using your solution, disable ezupdater, I go out of town, as soon as I leave bot relogs, ryar re-enables ezupdater, updates and possibly breaks. A scheduler or option to disable automatic updates would be a simple solution to this. Otherwise I need to edit files and or delete/reinstall ezupdater everytime I cant monitor it.

Im also having the same problems with Trinity .26 I start up DB, press log in, and BAM it crashes. Also for some reason EZUpdater wont show in my plugins anymore
 
scratch that forgot to move the SharpSvn file over on a fresh install lol but still crashing from the trinity update -.-

I'm having trouble with installing EZUpdater. I've copied the .dll file into my root dir. But it doesnt show up under plugins in DB. Anyhow, there are a lot more files in the attached zip file. What am I supposed to do with those?

you have to copy the files from the zip into a folder in your plugins folder

Is updating simplefollow supported with this yet? Does anyone else have theirs updating Simplefollow? When I try to enable it, it just goes crazy filling up log with errors.

(Edited the log, figured no reason to send 250 pages of the same error) :)

Because the SVN was empty! I've updated it. Should work now...
 
Awesome plugin mate!

Found just a small thing tho: if you check updates, and the plugin doesn't find one, it still says it found an update and you need to restart :D
Easy to reproduce, just go to the plugin tab, select EZUpdater, click config, click 'Check for updates'. You'll see all plugins being checked, and even if all say 'no update available for xxx', it will still announce 'one or more plugins have been updated'.

I really wish there was a way to make the updater stop spazzing out when you deny permission to modify some files, such as the combat profiles. I changed mine since the original barb combat file casts avalanche before wotb and nerfs your dmg by a sizable margin...

anybody keen on helping me out here? i'm still trying to get this working for me.
reinstallaed again and again, now running the latest db beta (4xx) and followed all the steps to "install" this.
db shows the EZUpdater at the Plugins view and it is checked. But it neither searches for updates at the start of db, nor when I click on the check for updates button.
simply nothing happens

If I can provide any logfile or dumpfile please let me know

The EZUpdater folder in the zip needs to be in your DB/Plugins folder, then just copy the dll file to your root db folder.

Probably not the solution you are looking for, but you can goto your db/settings/ezupdater and modify it not to update your trinity and just do that one manually.. :/

Yes, please post log files.. No way to tell what it is actually doing otherwise.
 
Got error on clean install. The folder name of DB beta is old version, my current version is DemonbuddyBETA v1.1.1862.403 started
