A5 - Siege Camp Chest Runner V2.0 w/ Chest Sensing & Movement Management

At the last few chests is the purpose of the WaitTimer after the interact to wait for the loot to drop? Not sure if the bot will register the drop if it already start casting TP because sometimes I notice the TP casting while the chest "opening" animation is still in progress. I tested with gold i.e. set it to pick minimum pile and it actually still ignore the gold and TP back to town. Perhaps I can increase the WaitTimer slightly?

On second thought this might be a side effect of removing the "Run to safety" portion of the profile because now TP is immediately triggered upon the last chest opening.

That's the only reason. If you are moving that quickly that you are still seeing the chest animation you need to increase it. Would be nice to make something like that conditional on the two chests finishing their business but I don't know if that is possible with the current options available at the profile level.

Longest log so far. Going to let it run out a bit longer. Stopped it once for a couple minutes to idenfity and melt a couple legendaries. Second piece of Jade Harvester's :). Guess I am going to be going DoT WD and not pet like I wanted to.

I have noticed that myself since Trinity 1.8.26. Gonna to try to get away from depending on Trinity to open chests.

"<TrinityInteract questID="1" snoid="289796" />" usually hits chests on the first go like 75% of the time, hits stones 100% of the time. The other 25% of the time I count on Trinity to take over and open the chest because it is in range. Try increasing the chest open range and tell me if that helps. I tried MoveToActor and although it works every time it is horrendously slow.

That 75% rate is also why sometimes opening chests seems like a quick event and other times the bot is intently thinking about it. When everything works the first go its fun to watch. On the 3rd tier it just quickly taps the 2 chests and dances away from the bomb.

I've found that either Trinity or Demonbuddy itselfs likes to skip ahead over a step in profiles before its 100% completed.

Adding a short wait timer between MoveToSNO and TrinityInteract has fixed the chest skipping issue for me.

<TrinityMoveToSNO questId="1" snoid="289796" pathPrecision="8" range="150"/>
<WaitTimer questId="1" stepId="1" waitTime="100" />
<TrinityInteract questID="1" snoid="289796" />

That being said, I've noticed that Trinity revisions after .24 are 2 to 3 seconds slower overall in completing the run for some reason, so I'd recommend to revert back.

Edit: Dazed and confused.

Love the profile :) I left a proggy from last night, but here it is again. I recieved quite a bit of legendaries, tonight I should have an extra 12% running speed and 400k more health (up from 175k), 4 million more toughness (total 5.9m) and increased MF to 75%, up from 0). Will be intresting to see tonight statistics :) will post tomorrow.

Edit: I'm sorry, I didn't even see that you changed the method of interacting with the chests.

More so the way of finding and moving to chests then the interaction. This is still very relevant. Just wondering what kind of success rate you see with just using TrinityInteract with a timer and turning off chest opening entirely in Trinity.

If someone wouldn't mind testing it out and giving me an optimized wait number we can take chest opening to a new level. Right now I'm busy but can check the forums.

I have not seen it skip chests after I implemented the 100 ms waiting time. Been monitoring for maybe 2 hours.

Yep. Even a wait time of 50 ms seems to work.

Very nice. Can you look for a lower limit? Want to find a number that is fast but won't be problematic for people with slower computers. Without utilizing a check to see if the chest popped and a number that is too low we may get a lot of people with skipped chests.

I have noticed that you don't need wait times for corpses or rocks, will pop them in a driveby style no problem. Not sure if its something specific to chests or just how DB/TrinityInteract is handling them.

Even 10 ms works for me. I'm starting to think as long as there's another step to complete between the two tags, it'll always work. Check your PMs btw.

That's great. For the next revision I will put it in 10ms breaks on chests. Thanks for the info in the PM will put some of it to work for us.

Think my WD can get a break now, time to code a little. The below results were achieved using Trinity 1.8.26 with Fire Walker boots, War Bracers, Thing of the Deep Mojo, 139% MF and my recommended WD skills. The stats include 2 breaks in between to identify and salvage.

Thank you for the quick updates!

I tried using the crusadercombat file. It still uses the steed skill when back in town. It still resets the game. It has a 50/50 chance of resetting.

I had the same-ish numbers the previous night. Surprisingly despite a similar GPH I haven't done as well on LPH. (MF% means something?!)

Also I don't pick up anything besides imperials, and have minimum gold at 4000.

This is as a nearly ungeared crusader. 25% movespeed, plenty of toughness.

I had a few issues I addressed before running-

It seemed like with the proper settings it would often use steed charge in town while trying to use map to WP to area. This would cause it to fail and it would assume run done and restart game as often as 1 in 4 runs. To solve this I just removed steed charge as an ability which decreased movespeed obviously but ended up completing 100% of runs. The upside is when it did not fail in town, it used it well during the run to get up the stairs.

The only other downside is getting it to use Akarat's Champion for the 30% move speed for essentially the full run. I may work on the trinity crusader settings tonight if I have a chance.

Nothing good unfortunately =(

could you add spirit barrage to the OOC xml for witch doctors? the last rune lasts for 20 seconds and just hits all the destructables to activate the bracers, thanks

just saw a legendary drop off the last chest but he tried to TP home anyway, does wait for loot after kill in trinity work for chests?

this would be so awesome lol !

What version of DB/Trinity are you using?

Pls Captain , ADD spirit barrage like Vlein said 2 posts before as fast as possible, this will speed up the run SOOOO MUCH :D i just tried it out :D... i would love you much more then i do now :P

Trying to avoid these hack in hotfixes, but I will throw in spirit barrage. Working on gutting Trinity and making my own version of the plugin whose only goal is chest run maximization, planning on adding in a chests per hour metric so we get some better stats going. Gonna take me a while since I'm still muddling my way through the sheer amount of code involved.

I wanna see as many logs as possible and please provide your MF and version of Trinity/DB. Also, keep the speed skill/item ideas coming in. I only know WD and Wizard.
