When to log in and had message account locked

reset password and everything was ok

was this a pre warning for a ban?? thoughts??
 
tin foil hat. There are never pre-emptive signs of ban. If you bot, consider the account banned
 
Higher Chance of not getting ban is removing and not adding people to your friends list=)...unless they are your friends in RL......there is no pre-warn..^^^^^ if you bot...
 
My account has been locked twice in the past two days, both times while at work and using the BuddyStats page to start / stop my bot.

Locked is not the same thing as banned, Locked usually means it's protecting your account for various reasons mainly a log in from multiple places in a short time.

It sounds more like you've been hacked than it does like a ban. I hope you have an authenticator and anti-virus/spyware/whatevertheycallitnowadays

Ok, so when this happens... it means people have been trying to log into your account from too many different locations. It is a prevention lock that Blizzard put in, although very poor and hardly works, to help prevent people hacking other's accounts. It forces a password reset and then you need your secret security question to help unlock the account.

So no worries with this, they have it on all their games to help people keep their accounts.
 
Hi. I dont really think since they removed auction house and everything that you will get ban. Its now a SINGLE player game. the only think they gain from banning you is loosing people playing their games
