How do they detect us ?

How can GGG detect the bot if its safe client wise considering lots of ppl playing.Their team is small and when u play solo only and bot reasonable hours 4 to 8 per day.
I made new account diffrent pc diffrent ip even diffrent place.
Played by hand first 25 levels. Started botting after for 2-3 hours per day max and now my account is flagged again.Srsly how to deal with this shit ?

Dont bot? Attach the bot, play legit and see if they catch you. Than you will know for sure.

Just make sure the bot isnt sending any commands to your game. Set it to be like lazy raider without a cc.

well this need fixing also posting the botting tips was kinda odd since they are common sense stuff I will write email to unflag my account see what happens at this point i dont realy care about it anymore.

Also i never botted ledge or docks or sarn mainly did lunaris which isnt so common bot area :>
and thats on Hardcore as well

Dont write mail i got 3 accounts same ip same pc same time boting, all got flaged on courency i wrote mail for one of them to see, they sent me mail that they will look into this, next day sent me mail that my acount broke ToU and im banned, then i waited and sent another mail from second acount they did same- acount banned, the courency flag is automated, on the other hand first account i posesed and managed to sell courency was 50 lvl and they flaged me after week and baned 2 days after flag but i boted like crazy 24/7. I think they ban after automatic(i hope you find that squealer) flag. I still have 2 accounts one fresh(first day runing 1-4h no flag) and second flaged runing (24/7). I'm just making some testing i have keys so it doesnt matter if i get baned

From what i have seen on forums of POE there are gigantic threads about courency flags and im sure not all that people are botters theyre puting flags on anyone that made something suspicious, then you need to send mail that either release flag or compromise you, in this case everyone that got flaged because of boting are gone ... bastards

Sorry to burst your bubble, and since i cannot comment in your "zomg bot is detected" thread due to your ignorance i'll do so here.

I just recently stopped the bot from botting at 11pm 11/11/13, till now, 11/12/13 at 9:18pm. It has been running docks this entire time.

I'm still getting currency, i do this every other day, almost level 80, no ip bans, no account bans, no account flags (still getting massive amount of drops including scrolls).

You're ignorance is shining very bright. is the bot spamming 300APM? is it 400? 500? as you keep changing the numbers every time you speak? no clue. However this cannot be how they are flagging accounts since obviously I'm still standing when playing for almost 24hours straight every other night.

As to the OP, there isn't any true answer, you can play it safe and bot very little, you can bot 24/7. However, botting once for 30min is taking the same amount of risk almost as 24/7, just as it was in diablo3 it's probably just a matter of time before they find out. Might as well go hard and reap the benefits while you can IMO.

Problem is about 2 weeks ago when I started the Merciless account, it got currency drop flagged at about 16 before end of act 1. Then the next account the same. then the next account the same. (for the last account I decided that it was likely me being the problem so I went VM, for the next new account, MAC change, different IP, fresh PoE install etc etc).

So, if you could help, by starting a new account and using EB to get it up to, say, end of act 2 normal? If you get the same treatment I am getting then there will be no more currency dropping after ~5 hours.

Arden, please could you help test, buy starting a new account, strongly suggest different IP so your main bot accounts don't get checked, and bot from level 1 to.. typically by level 20 or just after act 1 normal, the currency drop flag is triggered."

I botted a character prior to the steam release (2-3weeks prior) from 20-54, no issues.

However since this "test" you mention was after you made your post, and i quote,

The currency flag is the first step.
In a few hours to a few days you WILL get banned.
If your character is on Merciless and you invested into gear - you WILL lose that currency.

Just like how you note APM is 300, 400, 500, 600, your story changes, please create one and stick with it please.

This character i botted from 28-80ish so far, i have farmed whichever spot was the highest available for me at the time, and this includes ledge, city of sarn, docks, and a few others i cannot remember off the top of my head. (also all 3 difficulties which should be obvious).

This characters creation time is 1week a few days as of this post, i have 5 almost 6 days played/online just on this character.

As i stated to tweety i also botted prior on another character with no issues, if it matters this account is from closed beta(which is my best guess, but i should be banned regardless if the bot is detectable.)

As for making a new account I'm going to have to pass. I still doubt the bot is detected, just very bad luck (pretty much just like how the diablo3 bot was! i was banned once but my second run has yet to this day been banned after having ran 24/7 for 4months straight.)

Hey to put some more info out there, my nemi char botted from about 15-79 without any form of flagging christ last time i sold currency i sold 50 pure chaos and still have shit tons of other currency. I created the char/account about let me check. 7days 10 hours ago. Also if you were wondering no it did not get banned it died has chicken at 35% obviously to low for merci. But let me be clear I did manually level from from start of act 1 to beginning of act 2ish.
I have been botting over 4 accounts 3 at a time a night, 1 account did get flagged for currency but that went away after i changed the zone I was continually farming.
None of the accounts have been banned.
No special ip or any of that crap.
My three friends who are botting as well are all running 1 bot a night with no hiccups as well.
I have no idea why you guys are having so many problems makes no sense to me.

Act 1? believe i quit attempting cruel because of terrible gear, kept farming docks and then imperial gardens until i had better gear/higher level for cruel.

Anyway to answer you again, according to said test I've pretty much already completed it outside of making a whole new account and attempting to level 1-80 with the bot (which isn't possible, you have to unlock WP's and level slightly before the bot is even able to run properly) to attempt to be banned on it which then would get my main banned as well.

As for my response being an "essay" i find it hard to believe that my last response was anywhere near an essay, many a small paragraph is a better word for it. (however my first post could be considered a short, half page, essay i suppose.)

You leveld manually 1-15, up to finishing act 1, by hand.
Did you make a pause after that or started the bot right after hitting 15 up to 79?

Yes pretty much right after but i set the timer so that the character would never go over 10 hours play whether it was me manually doing it or the bot doing it or a combination.
Also this account does not have any premium stuff ie havnt spent any money on it.

- Botted Act 3 Normal Docks a while, to get a headstart - not flagged
- Manually finished Act 2 Cruel, with a couple of sessions of grinding with EB in southern forests & city of sarn & docks to gain some levels. - not flagged
- Manually finished Act 1-3 Merci, grouping with people, the odd grinding with EB here and there again - not flagged
- Started grinding Merciless Docks at 65 not flagged for a long time
- Ran a few maps between level 72~74 manually
- Finished off level 75 in Docks with EB grinding -- suddenly flagged

Hard to tell what it was that triggered it. Maybe because I had a day off in the middle of the week and decided to grind out in Docks, a day and time the account usually doesn't play at? Didn't supervise the bot during that time too much as it was running pretty good, might've been it ran circles, might've been something else.. I just remember that EB and POE client were crashed when I looked after the bot after ~45mins of not attending it. That was early this week, account isn't banned yet tho which is interesting. Last time I got flagged, the account was banned within 2-3 days.

Flagged for currency after using this bot for about 7 hours after I bought it yesterday, already asked for a refund back! This should not be marketed, it should be closed-beta tested by a number of volunteers, I am surtain I have not been banned because of anything I did, I even supervised the bot every now and then to be safe. Wait for safe release guys, I will be returning in the future if/when everything is ok from all aspects...
