How do they detect us ?

Onto my 5th test account, only started with 1.08, level 15+, flagged already. 100% supervision, nothing stupid happened yet, done every quest so far.

Bot is 100% detected. How? Guess we just have to keep trying to work it out.

Hard to tell what it was that triggered it. Maybe because I had a day off in the middle of the week and decided to grind out in Docks, a day and time the account usually doesn't play at? Didn't supervise the bot during that time too much as it was running pretty good, might've been it ran circles, might've been something else.. I just remember that EB and POE client were crashed when I looked after the bot after ~45mins of not attending it. That was early this week, account isn't banned yet tho which is interesting. Last time I got flagged, the account was banned within 2-3 days.

I was feeling demotivated to levle up up to 25 lvl by hand on an account that I know that can be flagged for no currency just the next day.
You confirmed that.
My account got banned on the 5th day after the no currency flag.

The sad truth.
I feel like I am waisting my time trying again build after build getting accounts flagged one after another.
 
Listen:

The software is not detected or we'd all be no currency flagged or banned.

Pattern recognition is likely what's getting certain botters caught. There are many ways to protect yourself most of which have been discussed in one thread or another. At this point if the heat is too much for you then just quit. It was a failed effort and you lost, suck it up and move on. Less botters makes for a better economy anyway!

Edit: there is one other possibility and that is that my hardware/set up is simply better in terms of security which is entirely possible. This is an unlikely senario but I can't rule it out.

Now I'm sure someone will jump I here and claim to be an IT guru and know it all/have done it all but clearly something is being overlooked with either of the above 2 possibilities.

Thanks for the feedback. Could you give us some information.. I like information.. such as the leveling you did for your bot? Was it recent or was this a month ago? Have you leveled an account in the past 2 weeks, say from 1 - 18 act 1 into act 2, with some time, say 1 hour, of the bot running (10 minutes here, 20 minutes there?

A month ago I could level without any problems, I have those 2 accounts but not checked in a while.

I picked up EB last week. I have leveled a couple accounts to 50+. I hand leveled one to 40+ so I could learn the mechanics of the game and the rest have been botted 99% of time played.

I can't give you any more information, sorry.
 
I got EB. used it for about 5-7 hours and my account got currency flagged.. I can still play but nothing drops >.<

I hand lvled to around lvl 50 then the bot botted for 5-7 hours and i got flagged

Bot hard with that account to pick up rare items. In a few days ban is coming.
 
ive been having issues with the currency flags aswell, one of my accounts only farmed for maybe 3-4 runs and then stood afk for an hour infont of his stash (i had the bot off and didnt close the game)
and that one got currency flagged aswell

i think i might try playing an account with only the bot injected for a few hours and see if its gonna get flagged too

edit: ive been think abit more about all the flags and reading also abit more, i really dont think GGG can detect the software, else we would have much much more, much much faster bans

but i think that the bot in its current state is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to botty, you cant use it for more then 30mins (probably the real time is more like 1-2hours, but still, not good for a bot and i would be too scared to risk it at this point :x )

i would really hope for some cutomization which makes him seem more human because his combat is really freaking amazing

i just think he farms too perfectly his zones
i would really love to see the option to configurate the % of the map exploration at which he leaves, maybe even let him choose from a random value from inbetween 2numbers you could set (like leave zone min:50% exlored, max: 80% explored, and make him pick randomly from 50-80% every run)

another feature that could help appearing more human, would be something that lets u set the location/way at which you wanna reset the zone (let us enter the portal you want him to look for, or just waypoint/portal)

you probably have 50more ideas just like mine (or even 10x better)

but i think thats what EB really could use next, right now you really have to pay attention to the time you bot (i think multiple hours a day will get you banned too, because of the botty behavior)
 
Started a new toon tonight, spent less than 20 minutes botting it, played through to act 2 80% myself. SOMETHING it's doing is tipping them off. Was a templar with 2h melee using exile CR.
 
well if you just look a little bit around the forums, you would notice that just as many people get banned on their higher level accounts, so im pretty sure that the bot, looks botty, even if you level to 25 or 50 or 80....

we need more features and its really not that hard with the map visualizer, question is jsut hook long its gonna take :x because im 100% sure that sooner or later you will HAVE to implement it
 
still no currency? i was wondering if the flags do expire at some point, i just did never log into those accounts again
 
I just abandon the accounts. I planned to recheck them once the bans stop/lesson.

after creating like 25 acc's couple lvled by hand couple started off with the bot (most of them flagged for no curreny 2 or 3 banned) i can say it is related to the time the bot is running

nothing like 24/7 but more like 2h or smth although the acc's i created b4 release waaay waaaaay back in the beta did hold 1-2 weeks

tested on multiple exiles ranger/shadow/maraudeur/witch/scion with the common builds like weapon throw, knifes, leap, summoner etc... in short the basic skillz some geared some not some acc's verified some not
one or two got to 25 before getting the currency flag (they had complete unique gear so they just ran i needed to do the bandits q by hand though)
the ones without gear got to lvl 11 or 12 in the same timeframe and got flagged too

most of them not banned though only 2 or 3

so it is very very strange

i would at least like to hear a theory to test :x
 
I wrote them an email that there was no currency dropping and asking if they could help me.. They did'ten respond but one day the currency drops were back.. Kinda weird
 
Tinfoil your RJ-45.
They cannot detect you if your Ethernet-Plug is tinfoiled!!!

banned for multiboxing, no bots, no cheats, only isboxer, without any macros etc
