Verify you have the level limits set coorrectly in the subprofile. If the character is 80 you will need to make it for 81 or higher.

Thanks. But there is still a problem.
When i start it the log says nothing.. only activity: ....
 
Has anyone had problem's with there profile's were the bot would not attack any target's just defend itself? i have made 3 farming profile's with this editor and every profile has the same problem and it's screwing my head up now :(
I cant see anything wrong with my code and if i run any other profile that was not created by the editor they work.
can someone look what's wrong pls.

The distance is not the problem, i only changed the distance before i uploaded to fix the "falling of the cliff" issue everyone was pm'ing me with.
 
wow.. thanks for this awesome program! i love it...

started it and did my first profile in lesser than 10 minutes.. it runs very well.. :-)
its so easy to make own profiles now ^^
 
Apoc, how's the development coming along? Would love a chance to try out the questing functionality, even if it is alpha. Willing to test and provide feedback.
 
Tell me what is wrong!

Title says it all. I am trying to make a skinning profile for 1-50. I am using an 80 druid. He just stands there. He Targets but doesn't path or attack.

edit: The subprofile was set to 1-80, so i changed that to 1-81 and it will now path around the hotspots, but it will not attack. It just targets them and stands there.

At a guess, "StyxWoW.AreaManager.CurrentGrindArea is null" is where your problem is at. Try setting all Min levels to 1 and Max levels to 81 rather than 80, don't know if that will help but it's probably worth trying.
 
It is amazing to see how things have gone in the world of botting since the early ages of world of warcraft where glider started to become popular. I remember when i hit the "start" button for the first time and was pretty impressed that a program could play my character for me...and today we have programs that do almost everything...i remember exactly when i talked with a friend years ago how cool it would be if the bot would train new skills automatically and stuff like that...creating profiles was as simple as running arround and set a waypoint every x meters...

Sorry for the offtopic trash =) but this is just awesome..never thought the whole bot community would increase and grow like it did with such experienced developers like you creating such cool stuff! Thanks a lot!

Hmm... Whereabouts is the profile? I can test it on my hunter or druid (Horde and Alliance, both 80) when I get home later if you like and see if I can work it out?

Never mind, never thought about looking at current location in your log... I'll test it when I get home later unless somebody has solved it for you :)
 
Double-post I know, but it's more a new post than an update to the old.

sjbre212, try the profile I've attached and let me know if it works for you. My hunter starts running around the hotspots killing stuff, though he won't skin as he isn't a skinner! :)

So does maxdistance actually do anything? Was trying to make a profile where my toon followed a very distinct path, but he will still go like 100 yards away from the center of the hotpoint to kill stuff.

Even setting it to 0 it still pulls stuff (with pull distance set to basically melee range.. 3)

Turn off 'Kill between hotspots' in HB.
 
Thanks for such a wicked editor.
Curious can this be used to make Gatherbuddy profiles? Or will it be supported in the future?
Would be awesome and id consider developing Gather profiles.
