FallenDev Act1 Profile

First of all, thanks for this wonderful profile.

I want to share my feedback about running this on my barb, but I am seeking some advice as well. There are two main points I'd like to talk about.

1. Wood wraith in fields of misery. I find my bararian often going back to kill a single wood wraith, even though hes supposed to AoE farm packs of 8+. Is he trying to attack the poison clouds? This causes about 50% of my deaths. Is there a way to fix this? I've been trying to modify the profile or trinity to add monsters to blacklist or skip (found their SNO as well), but since I have 0 knowledge at programming I miserably failed.

2. Exiting the fields of misery. It looks like the character tries to run to the bottom area which is already cleared, but it is never 100% cleared on my barbarian setup. So most of the times it just aggros a bunch of monsters, then he tries to TP without attacking them first. TP will fail 95% of the time, so the 10 secs leaving is then engaged. This causes about the other 50% of my deaths. Wouldn't forcing a townrun then exiting be a more viable way? (PS : I have vers 7.1)

Thanks for reading my feedback and sorry for my noobiness if I missed some obvious things.

1. The first thing is a Trinity problem I guess. Some weird behaviour that assumes a collision when some mobs get hit by the Cyclones... Can't be fixed via profile, I guess.


2. The second is a combination. The TP is triggered due to Trinity not being in combat. With a minimum mob stack size of 8 you won't be in combat there most of the time, resulting in a few deaths. I rewrote that part of the Script to go to the top of the map after Weeping, directly enterying Misery without the TP. Works well and results in way more iph than otherwise.
 
Hi FD. Great profile updates as usual.

Something I have noticed that is exceedingly annoying: When running WeepXP or XP profiles, they seem to set demonbuddy to "Use book of cain" on startup. This doesn't happen with the other profiles in my testing. It also automatically disables "Combat Looting" in the bot settings.

Is there a way to stop this from happening? Especially the book of cain one as it is very annoying to manually do them everytime I start up.

Find and remove this (or just the forcetownrun line as that's all that may be there):

What versions of the profiles are you running? You can't be using the 7.1 profiles as they both do not use the forcetownrun at the beginning. There is nothing in any of the XP profiles that disables combat looting anywhere. Make sure you are using the 7.1 profiles as quite a few iterations ago he removed the forcetownrun at the beginning.

hey i got a probllemwith my bot stays at "at the tp" spot and do nofing then i tele back to town please help

I am using 7.1 profiles.

If it is not the profiles causing it, then does anyone know what might be?
 
hey i was wondering if this profile could get an update where the bot doesn't walk all the way back to his spot upon death, instead uses the wave point or anything? he just looks really nonhuman like running a mile to die and then walk back the same route over and over.. heh. ty

I have problem with my barb with profile "Weep XP Act1" - when my barb is died on Weeping Hollow, the resurect at the cemetery gate and staying without any move very long time, until Nephalem buff is ending...

I have to manually move him to start play, without manual move bot is staying and start after very long time, when NV is lost...

Where is a problem - its happens on my barb only, there is any problem with other chars... wiz and WD

I'd ask in the demonbuddy support section. It could be because of your compiled assemblies folder, or you may need to reinstall DB itself. It isn't a profile issue.

That is an old and unsupported Profile first of all. All profiles but that one are up to 7.1. The only reason that one was posted because people wanted to make the runs without the dungeons added in.

Try deleting your compiled assemblies folder and restarting DB. If that doesn't work, try re-installing DB itself. Do you have trinity enabled?

Other than the above, there is nothing really else that can be helped with other than running a different profile.

Zipped log is attached. The bot got stuck downstairs in CoTA so I tried to move him out of the stuck but it didn't work. Had to move it all the way out of CotA (although I don't think I tried upper level in cota before resuming outside).

Otherwise, great routine! Many thanks to devs. I did notice gold/xp/legs are a bit lower than Act 2. Maybe act 1 still sucks relative to the buff to the other acts. . .

I'd buy a lottery ticket :) That's probably a one in a million stuck (I run one of his act 1 profiles and I have yet to see that one, or any one for that matter recently). If you do notice that it happens again, post a log like you did before and also, let me/him/us know which profile you are using. Fallen hasn't been terribly active lately, but I can get a hold of him if need be :)

I have deleted "compiled assemblies folder" - didn't help, have reinstalled a bot - didn't help....
 
Another stuck! Must be my lucky day! Looks like the bot hit the unstucker limit twice on this one (unfortunately I wasn't watching the bot right at that moment). The log shows that the bot gets stuck quite a lot, actually, but the unstucker usually catches it before hitting the 15 attempt limit.

The profile I'm using is the default Gilles Trinity. (Sorry if this is a horribly noob question, I'm brand new to this--but isn't this profile info stored at the beginning of the log?). I have the default unstucker checked, is there another or different unstucker I should be using? I'll double check the unstuck settings recommended in the OP and see if that helps too.

Unrelated to any of this, can someone point me to a thread explaining how to adjust the loot rules for individual items (e.g. keep ilvl 62+ axes and swords but only ilvl 63 for all other weapons) in the default loot rules (I guess these are Darkfriend's Item Rules)?

Might want to read other peoples post that have had help.
Also get a check to see if you are running the latest profile I have been running this for a month without stucks.
