[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

Download the blank combat profile and use only the follower plugin. You can even unload trinity, or just turn off combat in the blank profile and just keep looting on. I've done that quite a bit there is just a few problems where the bot tries to open stuff that doesn't exist, like decoration doors that don't really open. Would probably have to blacklist a whole bunch of stuff to make it work perfect but it's already pretty good even with the stucks here and there.

I'm newer to DB and was trying to figure out how to get a party bot going. Thanks for making my search minimal rrrix, lol

If I had the money, I'd donate purely because how great this plugin is.

It actually adds a fun side to the game, where you can actually play the game :D

I kind of do it the long, slow way, by having my new account with the class I want to level up, plus new characters from 3 of my other accounts. So that I am leveling up 4 new chars. You can get the whole thing done quite quickly, although I still take a few days over it, maybe even a week, but it's fun for me :D

Gonna lead with a monk, a barb and WD on existing accounts, and of course my new account will be a wizard, BRING IT!

i did the whole leveling up legit way with my last round of bots so i dont care much for it now, mp10 power leveling only takes a few hours to get to 60 so my plan is to rush 2 bots at a time (only buying another 4 for now)

Makes sense, man. I should do that really. I'll think on it. See how the mood takes me once I get the new acc. Attempting to convince a mate to part with one of his accounts. He stopped playing at the start of the year.

OK, This bug looks like it has been plaguing this plugin as well as the other party plugin.

The leader fails to click the boss accept sequence at different times. Here is a list of where the plugin works, and does not work. This might not be important data, but I hope it helps characterize the issue.

Act I
The Collapsed Hallway - Fail - does not seem to get stuck in move to actor routine. seems to get stuck in move to actor. Seems to get stuck in move to map.
Skeleton king - works
Deckard Cain - Works
Arenae - works
Butcher - Fails " move to map marker" again



Act IV
Iskatu - fails
Rakanoth - works
Crystal Colonnade - fails
Izual - works
Pinnacle of Heaven - works
Diablo - Works

End credits - not working for leader, works for follower.

I'll get to act 2 and 3 when I get a chance.
 
DB crashes after the run is over and the leader is trying to invite the other bots, but they are in a party with themselves. As they try to accept the invite, they get a confirmation box and DB crashes right after.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Another problem I have is that when my bots port to the leader, they just stand there for a few seconds before they start moving, which sometimes causes them to die over and over again. Is there a way to tighten up the reaction time so they attack faster? I guess one solution would be to have the leader be a range class, but I want this to work with my barbs.

read my posts on page 26 and see if it applies to you.

as for the other problem.. i know db has a short delay after taking a portal or waypoint so it might be the same with a banner although thats a complete guess.

Those solutions on page 26 seem more like a fix for the leader bot freezing, but I'll give it a go.

edit: Crashing on the followers stopped, I don't think it was related though, as I also changed my profile to a longer one. The 2 second port delay is killing me though, the bots do way better on their own than in a party.

For me the income (xp/gold) seems to be the same for grouped or solo, but as a group they are able to deal with higher levels a LOT easier. And it's fun watching them zap, smash, flash and bash their way through the mobs, sooo cool :D
 
whats the best char combination for the weeping MP8 or MP10 ATM? :)

4x barbs?
 
can follower bot just run after leader (using portals etc), if leader is real player, not bot?

yes this has been discussed a number of times, read a few pages back.

leader (player) has to be running demonbuddy + the plugin and using an empty profile
