Ban Theories and Ban Waves

Bans will come when legit player base returns.

Bots = high % of the player base they present to investors / share holders atm thus a ban would deminish value. Once the legit player base returns they will have room in numbers to trim some bots to both boost economy, save new content for as long as possible, and appease the legits w/o hurting their numbers to bad.

Right now its kind of a waste of resources on policing it imo. It's already ruined for now. They made the boa rollback change so future new items wont be duped and with bans of bots they will get to prolong the contents life on top of the boa change.

Thats my theory atm and what makes sense to me.
 
i think it will be the big ban wave here in few days like it was in december

If blizzard really wanted to, they could monitor the server for this site... Bam All the IP bans they need to wipe out 50%+ bots on their games. To be honest, who's going to stop them? I guess unless Buddy Bots server has a way of blocking that.

im with you what else could a bot on diablo3 do besides farm and while its farms you know it will get exp unless your farming normal i mean damn i just can not for the life of me understand what else it should do
 
Whats peoples experience, have the ban waves stopped or? Anyone tried botting 8+ hours pr day lately for a week without bans?

honestly you seem to lack basic understanding of how things work.

Blizzard can not do what you said. Only way for them to do that, would be to contact the admins of this website and request http server logs, like the FBI and other organizations would do.

There is no way to do a man in the middle attack over the internet like that and collect the ips.

Also it is not legal for blizzard to monitor your system in such a way / check if pc is connecting to X ip.

Actually it seems you do not know how things work. If blizzard see's a bigger revenue from banning what is destroying their economy they can very well monitor this site. Is it illegal? Yes. Can it be done? Yes.
Why do you think just because they are blizzard, that they are going to follow the rules? They aren't a robot that follows orders, if the man CFO or CEO gives the order. Your IP is had.

Then u are very bad programmer. It cant be done legally or without access to data

Didn't get touched yet.... I started 3 weeks ago though, only 3 accounts.... Maybe i'm safe?

When did you get banned? Was it yesterday? Today?

Also how long does a "ban wave" last... When is it safe to declare that you are indeed safe?

I just lost 2 accounts. But I stopped botting months ago. Like in February.
 
ihaa. 24/60 down. Funny ! So we bot on normal or we wait for DB update? If we got hit...I'm safe untill next wave? right?

Somehow I feel like if we haven't been banned yet, we are safe until the next wave...
