I came across a few other post in March on like MMO-Champ and other public sites that were talking about massive XP from pet battles, which was hotfixed shortly after.

I did this from 85-90 yesterday, and it worked. It's slower now, but honestly I believe it's still faster than using a questing profile, even with the annoyance of having to level the pets to 85. It took me ~3 hours per level from 86-90, using 2 24 Kneebiters and a 24 Darkbone. I eventually said FK this and just ran it overnight after spending all day messing around with the pets. Starting with 3 Kneebiters (Heard Kun-Lai runt was also good vs him) would probably cut the times down a decent amount since the crappy Darkbone def screwed things up sometimes when I'd look over.

I will probably give it another go with another 80 I have, the pets are account wide (It looks that way at least) so if you're wanting to do a few characters on the same account, it gets even better. With the current heat on GB/BG buddy, and even on Kicks/the MoP mesh issues, it's a nice little trick to use for us not so amazing botters.

Switched to zandalari kneebiter x3 with all t2 attacks. At level 59 i'm averaging around 485k+ exp/hr, Average time per level is at 18 minutes. My current play time is 1 day, 8 hours, 15 minutes, 49 seconds. I did a lot of afking as well so around 1 day of actual leveling. Definitely the most efficient way to level imo, on top of your toon disappearing upon initiating the pet battle, so no one can really see you there.

omg. 6 hours per lvl? I thought only 30minutes or 1hour. but i am faster with questing than gaying around with pets :'(

any reason why the plugin chooses to not use tier 2 attacks for my non lvl 25 pets? My lvl 25 kneebiter has all t2 attacks, but my lvl 24 and 18 automatically changes to t1 attacks when the battle starts. Even after i change it manually out of pet battle. It's pretty annoying

Mine is doing the same and its slowing it right down for me can anyone help?

Ok update sorted this myself what you need to do is delete all the files in petsettings put the tier 2 spells in place then go back to pokebuddy and remake the spells from the first post and save them job done

Its been huge pet-battle exploit in start of 5.2, which allowed for 2 hours to powerlevel a lvl 1 alt up to 89. It was giving 100-200k exp per battle, even if you are low lvl char. And they fixed it by giving only % of your level per win a day later.

I''ve added a castspell 2 if spell3 and spell1 is on CD to the logic. The mofo tends to heal on some unlucky times sometimes (or in case your attacks misses), and the pokebuddy slows down the process

EDIT: So, looking at the pet fighting, I got annoyed when the pet used ability 2 when Lucky Yi had less than 1200 HP, seemed too robot'ish. Therefore, I've added some more logic to the "routine". Feel free to use the attached file, im running 11-12m xp/h at the moment at lvl 88. The file should be placed in HB-folder\plugins\Pokebuddy\PetSettings.

My pets are lvl 24 now, So im pretty sure I will try it out today, thanks for your attached file. I will try it for sure!. One thing I still dont understand: Lucky Yi is a rare pet, doesnt he despawn after fighting him?

He is actually a legendary spawn No, he never despawns...

heirlooms dont do anything because you aren't killing anything or handing in any quests. therefore the increased exp gain will not be active.

I see this as a method to level chars with the bot, without being banned (untill the whole community starts using it ) mostly afk. I think the only thing that would give you up to the banhammer, is the amounth of time spent reapeating this in the same online session.

y. its good to use afk, its also faster than normal leveling. atleast what I have seen so far and it cant really bug or anything. but im still sad It takes so long (even if it isnt really long) because some ppl wrote, it takes 30min per lvl.

I've just levelled a set of 3 pets to 20 using PetArea and PokeBuddy. I take it I need to get at least one pet to 25 and then boost the kneebiters to 24/25 as well to then take on Lucky?

I could only buy level 1 kneebiters on my realm.

Any tips or shortcuts would be appreciated, at the moment I have been running the bot for about 20hrs to get this team to 20

Pretty sure if you read all the pages here, you will find your shortcut But you need two accounts. Keyword is wintrade Also a nice way to gain XP, but very manual as OP mentions.

The thing with Kneebiters vs Lucky Yi, is the attacks. But you might be "Lucky" with other pets aswell, aslong as they have a dps bonus against critters. But as mentioned in the last replies, do not expect to get a level every 30min from 85-90. Takes 2-3,5h per level.

If you search on ownedcore someone created a great ahk script to wintrade. Only drawback is you can't use your computer while its running but you can bot other accounts.

Interesting post as i am also one who hates grind/quest profile (leveling all my alts with gathering prof from 60-90 and 1-60 with IB) so will give it a try this WE even if i have never tried battle pets
